If they feel they need more evidence from you they can issue a RFE. Thats why people use to take as much evidence as possible when they go to the interview.

Im not sure. I’ve heard of people having to do biometrics more than once due to them not being able to run fingerprints. I’ve never heard of anyone getting a heads up in person though. Could be anything! If there is no update online its probably not RFE. I got a courtesy letter because i didnt submit i693, it was not an rfe so the status didnt change online. It could be anything really.

My I797 for EAD and AP both have a typo on my name. I Called them on 10/23 but till today it still says the SR wasn't assigned to be processed. I'm afraid they will never fix it and when my documents are approved they will come with the wrong name.

P.s. I was stalking some cases on the Case Tracker app and there were Already October cases ready to be scheduled for interview and also a few AP approved.

Hello. It might be difficult to get a B2 visa while you have a immigrant petition being processed. That doesn't mean you can't try. Applying for it will not jeopardize your immigrant application. If you decide to apply, take as much proof as possible that you will return to your country of residence. Like college enrollment, employment letter saying that you have a position with the company when you are back from vacation. A letter from your wife saying that you will not be applying for adjustment of status while in the US. Proof of her pregnancy. If you have a mortgage, car loan, or proof of any property you own. Everything that ties you to the country.

It's also important for the two of you to plan financially for the baby delivery. Idk if this info is still accurate, but you can read some http://www.visitorguard.com/obamacare-for-usa-visitors-and-immigrants/.
You mentioned that your wife is a student and is not working. Beware that she will need to file an Affidavit of support for you. Since she has no income she would need a co-sponsor. Sometimes the spouse can fill an I864A and be the co-sponsor, but I don't know if it would work on your situation. Otherwise she needs to have 3x the 125% of the poverty line in assets, in other words, cash. The easiest way would be for her to find you a USC co-sponsor.

I hope that helps, good luck!

I don't think you get results. The FBI send it to USCIS directly. You just have to wait.
Also the online status doesn't change often. It might stay on fingerprint received until they schedule your interview.

Even though you were all living abroad and paying taxes on that country he would have to file his taxes in the U.S.A. if his income was more than the 125% of the poverty line and he did report it to the IRS I don't see why you guys should have an issue. This is how taxes work for exprats.

P.S. if its easier adding a co-sponsor, do it. Also provide proof for the assets and pay stubs since you moved back to the U.S.(if he is working already)

Speaking about EAD/AP. The Uscis processing times chart has been updated an its showing that às of Sep 30 they were processing i131 from sept 8th and i765 from sept 15th. THERE IS HOPE!

p.s. Maybe they put the wrong date.

Yes I filled on October. I would guess they have corrected your birth date since its completed. I thinks the person who assist you with the fingerprint doesn't have access to that, but you can always ask.

Mine was not listed. Idk y.
Did biometrics on the 31st. It took 5 min. You can dress casual.
They messed up my last name for i765 and i131. I called and they said I probably put it wrong on the form, of course not. The guy created a service request, about 2 weeks ago. No update online. Just case received. No letter.

I don't want you to be nervous. But we never know what course of action the USCIS will take. They can accept your docs, give you another RFE or deny it. If they deny you can fill another AOS. And pay for it again.

I really recommend you asking for professional advice. I've been reading about couples that were denied because the USCIS did not accept what they sent for the RFE. Also, when you go to the interview they might ask why you transfered so much money and they might imply that it was a pay off and the marriage is not bona fide. And for that it would be good to have a professional help as well.
I'm not sure about the taxes, but I think if you were not married yet when the money was transfered it would be subject to gift tax charge. And I think USCIS shares info with the IRS. So you can get in trouble with them. But if you transfered the money this year you only have to file it with the IRS next year.

    Wishing everything goes well!

    Oh, I got it!
My package was sent there too. Yeah, it´s really interesting that there are  a lot of people that had their cases sent there. I am reading  old threads, and  there are just few people that had their cases sent to NBC. Hopefully they will be good for all of us.

Have a good trip with your hubby!
