@Thelucybelle I’ve been a silent lurker for some time now but reading your post really pulled at my heart strings, mostly because it hits home.  I know exactly how you feel as I’m sure all of us here do.  It’s the worst feeling to have to leave the one you love.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to sit at Heathrow airport crying my eyes out just wishing for another day with my fiancé.  I’m not even embarrassed to admit that at times, I’ve secretly hoped that my flight would be overbooked, just so I could spend a few more hours with my love.  Lol  I get you girl, we all do.  But your fiancé is right.  Soon!  We’re almost there!  We’ve come all this way and at the end it’ll be worth it!  I can’t wait for the day that my fiancé and I can finally start our lives together.  I pray that day comes soon for you, for me, and for everyone here.  
 
I remember reading your post before you left to visit your fiancé.  You said you wished you had informed delivery because you would be out of town until Friday.  Well, I hope that when you get home, you’ll have a lovely surprise in your mailbox and it’ll be one step closer to being reunited with your love.  So dry those puffy eyes and snotty nose of yours, ok?  I’m sending virtual hugs and prayers your way.  That NOA2 will be here before you know it and you’ll be with him again soon.  ❤️

After a beautiful week away in Wales with my love I am reminded yet again of why we are doing this. He is patient and kind and so funny ( and really hot btw!) and he loves me fiercely despite my disappointment that we are still waiting for this elusive approval. It gets harder and harder as every day passes and I see more and more approvals further away from August 10th and he holds my hand and tells me “soon baby, so soon” So I’m sitting in the airport with puffy eyes, a snotty nose,  a heavy heart and I’m barely holding it together but nothing can take away how much I love him.

I really appreciate that.  Honestly, we really are lucky to have each other.  We hate the wait but we do not take it out on each other. We really are good.  When she is weak, I am strong.  When I am weak, she is strong.  The wait sucks but we will just wait it out.  
 
I know that some other couples are having a more difficult time than we are.  We always keep our eye on the prize.  Yes, the dates are pushing back but the end will be the same.

I have faith in love and I have faith in the Lord. If it's meant to be it will be.
But I also believe that the Lord helps those who help themselves so I'll be chasing USCIS around daily if they take me over the expected date.

Please knock off the political arguments now.  Express your political opinions in a new or existing thread in the Current Events forum, if you must.  This thread is for discussing the progress (or, more probably, absence thereof) of your case, and to be supportive of each other during this interminable, infernal process.  Because arguments only serve to be divisive, anyone who veers back into political topics in this thread will be subject to administrative action.  Thanks for your attention.
