Hello. Our AOS packet was delivered at Chicago Lockbox on June 25, but up to this point, we have not received any NOA1 nor a charge on my credit card. Is the timeline normal?

It did arrive the same day as it showed on usps site. Congrats!!

Hi! I'm getting to file a k1 petition for my fiance in Philippines however I just came back here in the US last Sep 3, 2017. I became a US Citizen year 2007 thru my parents. I went to Philippines on 2009 to study/work where I met my fiance. Now I just came back, would it be appropriate to file the petition now or wait til I am consider as 'domicile' here in US? Thanks in advance!

Hi All!

I am planning to file a k1 petition for my fiance in Philippines. However I am worried it would get deny for the following reason;

I became a US citizen thru my parents when I was 17 y/o, then when back to Philippines when I was 19 y/o.

I met my fiance there while studying/working, I just came back here in the US last Sep 3, 2017 (now I'm 26 y/o). Would my petition be denied since I am not yet 'domicile' here?
