Can someone help me please 🙏

Hello! I'm filing I-130 online to bring my mom to the US. I am confused because it is asking for the beneficiary's travel document number as well as passport number. My mom has never been to the US, but she does have a passport since she travelled abroad. Do I just put her passport number under the question about the passport number and leave the travel document number blank? Or do I put her passport number in both boxes (the passport number and the travel document number)? Also, when it comes to this section "Provide information about the beneficiary's spouse and children in this section if they have any.", do I add myself, or they are asking whether she has children other than me? Thanks in advance!

Hello! I'm filing N-400 form online, and it is asking for my tax transcripts as additional evidence. My filing status is ''married filing joint''. I can't access my tax transcripts online because the IRS website does not allow me to create an account (for some reason they can't identify my phone number). Anyway, I can access the transcripts from my husband's account, so can I just use his transcripts? Or are our tax transcripts slightly different even if filed jointly? The IRS takes forever to reach, and I want to file as soon as possible, so please help me! Thank you!

Yes, March 20, 2021 is the date, but you can apply 90 days prior to that, so your window will open soon assuming you meet all the residency requirements. Do not apply too early. The 8 months out of the country should not be an issue, but you need to look at all the residence requirements.
Good Luck!
Thank you!

Hello everyone! I came to the USA based on K1 visa, got married on 07/09/2017, but only received my first green card on 03/20/2018. So, I've been married for at least 3 years, but I haven't had my green card for 3 years. So do I have to wait till March 20, 2021, to be eligible? Also, is there a 90-day period where can I apply, meaning I would be eligible to apply at the end of this month? My other question is, I haven't stayed in the USA all this time, I had one trip for 5.5 months and another one for 3 months, not sure if that affects the whole ''3-year thing''. Thanks!

"Public Charge" is not a factor/consideration in Naturalization.
Thank you! Do you know if it isn't public charge, could it be considered as anything else that would affect my chances of getting approval? Or It wouldn't influence my citizenship at all?

Hello everyone! Soon I will be eligible to apply for naturalization and I wanted to know if me applying for an emergency aid fund program from my community college would be considered as a public charge and therefore prevent me from getting my citizenship? I already have financial aid and I know it isn't a public charge, but not sure about the emergency aid fund. Should I apply or not? Thanks!

hi
if the do taxes together, they might ask your dad to file the i864A. the petitioner files the i864. the spouse files the i864A as her household member

Often they will want to see an I-864A from a spouse who files jointly with the sponsor, though.
Thank you!

I-864W no longer exists.
I-864 for a primary or joint sponsor.
I-864EZ is a "simpler" version of the I-864 that some people qualify to use. Nobody is required to use the EZ form.
I-864A for a household member joining their income/assets with an I-864 sponsor.
If mother is the only one who is sponsoring, but on tax forms parents are joint, is it still going to be just I-864? I mean, there won't be any need for I-864A, right?

My parents are bringing over a family member. This person is my aunt on my mother's side, and I helped with filling out the DS-260 for my aunt. My mother must fill out an I-864 form. But I am unsure which one we need to fill out. [I-864, I-864EZ, or I-864W] Please help point me in the right direction. Thank you!

For the 3 year application, you must have been physically present in the US for at least 18 of the 36 months , not had any single trips over 6 months, and resident in your state for at least 90 days before you file. The 30 months presence refers to the 5 year application rule not the 3 year
Thank you for clearing that up

Hello everyone! Because I've been married to a US citizen, I can apply only after 3 years since the start date on my conditional date of my green card instead of 5 years. My window will open in December this year. Since I got my conditional green card I had two trips. One was 5,5 months and the other one - 3 months. Essentially, by the time I can apply it will be 24 months of me staying inside the US and 8,5 months of me being outside. I read that I have to be inside the country for 30 months in order to be eligible, but that is for people who apply after living here for 5 years. Since I can apply only after 3 years, do I also have to be 30 months inside the US in order to be eligible or is it a little different? Thank you!

I just received an email saying that my I-751 petition was approved and they sent me an approval notice. Is it really done now? Or are they transferring it? Shouldn't be saying that the new card is being made if it's approved? Thank you!

Probably not, the chances of winning ae very low, as long as she has a good case then a Tourist Visa would be the obvious route.
Thank you!

It could - that does show she has had immigrant intent.
The previous visa requests won't affect an IR petition.
Thank you! I mean she previously applied to win a green card. She never applied to get a visa. Since participating in the green card lottery could affect a tourist visa approval, what would be the best visa to bring her here for a visit then? Or the only way to bring her is to do it through an immigrant visa?

They don’t care nearly as much about that, especially for someone staying with relatives. You are obviously a tie to the US, so she will need to show strong ties/reasons to return home. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of anyone being denied a tourist visa for not showing enough funds, but plenty denials under 214b.
I see, thank you! Do you know if the fact that she participated in the green card lottery would be counted against her? In the future I want to bring her over to the USA (if possible) that's why she applied in the past. But for now, I just want her to visit and the best visa for that would be a tourist visa I guess?

You’re focusing on the wrong thing here... she doesn’t need to show she has $x per day to get a visa. She needs to show reasons she will return to Russia after her visit.
Thank you, I already know about that, the only thing I wasn't sure about was the financial part of this question.

Where is your mom coming from? My mom is a chilean citizen and she uses an ESTA Waiver. Some countries do not need a VISA. You should find that first. She comes twice a year and has never been asked about money or how she affords to visit. She is retired. I asked her to get a VISA as soon as the Embassy opens again, so she can stay here for a longer time. I assume if any of those questions arise about how will be she affording her trip, we as a couple will be responsible for all her expenses.
She will be coming from Russia and she needs a visa 100%.

Evidence of strong ties to the home country and “adequate” financial resources cannot be written as a firm checklist. Just doesn’t work that way. It is possibly easier to define want won’t be looked on positively rather than the other way around
Close family members living in the US .. especially if they are USC
Lack of regular stable longterm
employment
Lack of owned property ...
I see. I was hoping there would be a minimum requirement or something like that since a lot of websites write something like you need to have 200$ per each day you stay in the US, but apparently it differs from case to case. Thank you!
