No reason at all, they just said it was in the normal processing time!

I have an NOA2 date of August 21st and I just called NVC for the first time tonight. I was able to get my case number and invoice ID, as well as add my email (I'm the beneficiary) to our case file. The person I talked to was more than helpful, and also let me know that the first and last correspondence we would receive from NVC would be an email notifying us when our case left NVC and was headed to my embassy (Montreal). 😊

 

When you called them, you chose option 2 right ?  NVC recieved my case on August 23rd and still no case number!

We called several times and according to them it is in the normal processing time. The priority date as of today is August 28th, 2017 , so starting from tomorrow it will be outside of normal processing time.

We inquired a million times and we used our Congressman but they only have one answer: “ your case is being reviewed by an officer and you should expect a decision after 60 days”
