Sorry for what has happened.  In my own opinion, I think it is good to make sure that the withdrawal  letter gets to them than you being denied due to failure to respond to the RFE as this may affect you if you have to file K1 petition in future.  You never can tell.

Thanks for the advice. I wonder if I could send another withdrawal letter to the address they use for RFEs.

  2. I've still checked USCIS daily to see if my withdrawal letter got there before they reviewed my case. I checked this morning and there were no changes. I checked again a few minutes ago, and the status now says they've mailed an RFE. No texts or emails, only the case status update on their site. I wonder if my withdrawal letter will get to the right location, or if I'll have to let the rfe expire to get the petition canceled

    Hellooooo My Dear Berries!!!

    Finally a little movement!!

As you can see, coming out of labor day weekend Sept 5 is a mountain! (just like most Mondays...)

I feel like they are really starting to climb it!

Can't wait for the full week to show up and when they just run through!

"I'm so excited... and I just can't hide it..."

I admit to dance at the halls and the bathroom of the company...

I also admit that people do see me sometimes and look at me like I'm crazy... Ok...ok... I meant they look at me and see that I am crazy...

Name updated cases that got the name update at this stage usually get an approval next day... I saw quite a lot of that happening..

so I actually think there were more approvals in the mail for 27th and 28th..

    2/27 full day total : 1

Are these dates for NOA1 or USCIS received dates? I'm sorry if this has already been answered before. I'm guessing it's the NOA1 but I want to be sure, because the USCIS site uses the date they received it when I check my case status.

Reading other sites on this topic, it has been reported that the USCIS appears to have some level of tolerance on the photo size for the petition, as the US is about the only country that uses 2 x 2 (5cm x 5cm) passport photo size.  The rest of the world is beginning to adopt a more standard size that is slightly different that 2 x 2.  What the actual tolerance level is not known but it appears that it is not an issue if the photo size is "close."  What does "close" mean?  I don't know.

Hmmm.......here's to hoping that her pic is "close" enough. Thanks for your help

While many believe the wrong picture size will generate and RFE, it may or it may not.  If it were me, I would have the correct sized photo at the ready in the event an RFE is generated and get it back to them ASAP if that is what occurs

Thanks. I was already planning to do that if I couldn't fix it before they caught it
