Weirdest thing just happened! After hearing nothing since July 11th (when they reused my fingerprints) I finally cracked and tried to call USCIS for answers. At 1:07pm I called them and went through the automated phone for a case status update, then they hung up on me and I couldn't speak to an operator. One hour later I received an update that my card was being produced! ####### lol. Anyway, it's finally happening. Coincidence or not, worth trying. All the best everyone!

Did you file the n-400 or just removal of conditions?

  2. Ahh what does this mean when will I know?! Has anyone else gotten this update yet?

Good Morning, Ive noticed that quite a few of you are tracking updates. How did you get a reference number in order to track it on the apps?

Is it the same number from when we awaiting notification of K1 approval or is it something new you get after they start processing your I-485-131-864 etc.?

    Thanks

on the email NOA there are tracking numbers

Does anyone else here have K-2 children?

I checked all the numbers in my texts from USCIS, and it turns out that we have 2 AOSs, 2 EADs and 2 fingerprints fees received, while there are 3 of us. Well, my son is too young for fingerprints but I expected a notification for every AOS and EAD:huh:

I don't think you would do an employment authorization for a child young enough to not need fingerprints, but I would expect you would get the AOS update for him! Check the numbers on the website to see if they have names attached.

  4. Hi! This is my first post so I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly! I guess I need some advice and guidance. My fiancé and I met 3 and a half years ago in the Dominican Republic. We started dating 3 years ago. We lived together in DR for a while then I had to move back for financial reasons. Then he came here on a student visa last May (2016) and has been studying English for over a year at a language program in Boston. He proposed at the beginning of august and we are very excited!! I am nervous however about the adjustment of status. Will it look bad that we were together before he came here? I heard a horror story of a couple that was denied and the husband had to go home for 2 years to complete the 2 year requirement for his student visa. Does that happen a lot?? Any advice we could get would be amazing! We will be getting married in September at a small family only ceremony at the spot he proposed :)
