NOT ONLY DID THE GREEN CARD GET APPROVED MONDAY BUT IT ALREADY CAME IN THE MAIL!!! Yayyy!! You guys it feels SO GOOD! I'm so glad I had all your support this whole time or this process would have been way harder! Our interview was a full hour long 😬 But the guy was really nice and understanding when they were small discrepancies in our answers. He did not look at a single paper that I brought but he did ask us each to see our phones to see what are name somewhere for each other as our contacts and also asked us to show him pictures of us together on our phones. Finally all the stress has paid off!!

My husband needs a booster vaccine before our green card interview next Monday. Does anyone know if he can bring in proof he got the vaccine or does he need a whole new medical packet? Thanks!

I know it's probably early but has anyone gotten their ead yet?

Is it the same number from when we awaiting notification of K1 approval or is it something new you get after they start processing your I-485-131-864 etc.?
Thanks
on the email NOA there are tracking numbers

Does anyone else here have K-2 children?
I checked all the numbers in my texts from USCIS, and it turns out that we have 2 AOSs, 2 EADs and 2 fingerprints fees received, while there are 3 of us. Well, my son is too young for fingerprints but I expected a notification for every AOS and EAD
I don't think you would do an employment authorization for a child young enough to not need fingerprints, but I would expect you would get the AOS update for him! Check the numbers on the website to see if they have names attached.

My packet was delivered January 1st, I'm so excited and nervous!! I've already been checking my email nonstop haha. My husband is adjusting from F-1 status. Hopefully all goes well!!

It won't likely come up. As someone who has to testify frequently for my job, one of the best pieces of advice I have ever gotten is to answer the question being asked of you, nothing more and nothing less. If they ask about it, tell them honestly. If not, don't come out with it. If they want to know they will ask!

~~moved to AOS from work, tourist, and student visas from AOS family based~~
The J1 not the F1 have residency requirements. You would not be seeking a K3 visa.
So what am I seeking? I thought it was a K3 because it will be marriage based.

Hi! This is my first post so I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly! I guess I need some advice and guidance. My fiancé and I met 3 and a half years ago in the Dominican Republic. We started dating 3 years ago. We lived together in DR for a while then I had to move back for financial reasons. Then he came here on a student visa last May (2016) and has been studying English for over a year at a language program in Boston. He proposed at the beginning of august and we are very excited!! I am nervous however about the adjustment of status. Will it look bad that we were together before he came here? I heard a horror story of a couple that was denied and the husband had to go home for 2 years to complete the 2 year requirement for his student visa. Does that happen a lot?? Any advice we could get would be amazing! We will be getting married in September at a small family only ceremony at the spot he proposed
