Thanks for your answer, maybe my wording is not correct. 

But yeah i did follow the instruction to log into the page where it is for scheduling interview (which i don't for Switzerland) and pay the visa fee. I just somehow could not find any options for the K visa (since there is no immigrant visa option to choose), that's why i'm confused

Can someone please help'me: I'm trying to pay the DS160 fee, however when i click on New application button, the options show up do not have the immigrant visa type. I'm confused

There is no estimate anymore unfortunately, it used to take a lot longer(almost 2 weeks) for electronic cases to get a number but recently I believe they are adjusting the system and it takes only a few days. Probably why cases get their received status late but then get the case numbers on a better average (just my guess).

I believe the waiting time kinds of swapping between waiting for a case number and waiting it to changed in to transit (for electronic case): I get my case number after 1 day of its being received but now it's already 1 week and still says At NVC.  i guess they assign the case number quickly after receive it, then start scanning the documents later.

I received my case number (electronic) On April 26th, as of today it still shows AT NVC

Mine is electronic and it took 1 day to have case number

Then for the second time I've been asked if it was a I-130... so I said umm no, I-129f..

He asked me if I have the letter, and I told him the date, and then he asked me if my letter says USCIS sent my case to NVC...(umm I thought all cases go there....I think they do use that difference in wording to put the blame on USCIS )

Then he went on to 6 weeks... when I stopped and asked:

I do have friends and we are kind of waiting together all around the same date, and from what I see it suddenly looks like mails stopped after April 2nd approvals. Is there any reason you know behind this? Is there again a backlog in USCIS that they don't send cases or they are not reaching you.

Answer: Not from what I see or know. Even though it has been almost 3 weeks, I would still consider it within the timelines. (he sounded genuine otherwise I would ask more)

 

So I asked Is there a good time for me to call during the day, because I am calling from Japan and if theres a good time during the day like after you guys already receive cases, I would wait.

Answer: Wow that is hard (for me calling from Japan - he was really nice.. I love NVC) Mail comes in different ways here, USPS, Fedex etc. So I cannot give you any exact time that I know off. It can come anytime during the day (he said USPS comes but he doesn't know the exact hour for that so I'm guessing that's within the work hours of USPS) 

I thanked (he was really nice) and told him I'll just call in the mornings and then at night time then.
