Each case I'd different, but an RFE is not bad.  Just send them the docs asked for and all will be fine. I was surprised I got an NOA2 3 days after they received my response to and RFE.

No need to worry, as many have said here an RFE is good news. I recieved one last week, they simply want some court documents from a case i had back in 1999. I contacted the court house and was told to come in and it takes about 15 mins. Atleast i know they have touch my case, I will send them what they need and hope for the best.😁😁

Sorry noa1 of Sept 15th and I believe the received date was the 8th

Also the visa journey estimates are very accurate so continue to update you profile as you get the information.  Once you receive your noa1 it will give you an estimated date and that date will move forward or back depending on approvals. Mine says March 25th

I have been following the September filers thread and there are some tech savvy people there. From my understanding they are currently working on Sept 5th and 6th.  So hopefully good things are around the corner.

My fiancee is also in DR, I filed in September it has been a long and stressful wait. I have read things moved quickly after the NOA2.
