Hello fellow visa journey filers! I am starting this thread to assist all of those who have beneficiaries in Manila. This way we can share information regarding the US Embassy in Manila and the requirements and help each other. I also recommend maybe some of the beneficiaries can help each other locally and point out the resources and what their experience has been and share their timelines. Our NOA2 approval was Feb 10th and we received the letter on Feb 14th. I have called the NVC today and still no case number. I would love to hear from all of you who are also petitioning someone from the Philippines who have gotten your NOA2 recently so we can share our timelines and what your experience has been as well. I will be updating this with each of my phone call attempts to the NVC As well as post dates of once I have a Case Tracker number. I’ll also post when the medical and other forms are being filed. If anybody has any suggestions or information to share regarding the Philippines US embassy please post here. I look forward to sharing our journey and getting our beneficiaries approved and on their way as soon as possible.

Javadown 2 . It is a conundrum , a baffling pattern I agree , a close friend who knows me well says you keep selecting the wrong women. Your point is well taken on a definitive decision needing to be made. The Colombian wife did not stay after the divorce , but, moved back to Colombia for 2 years. I have gleaned insight and different perspectives from the forum , that was my intent. I know that no one here can make a decision on my marriage, but, me.

USEM isn't as strict as they use to be regarding support evidence and the K-1 visa.
It is fine that your ITR doesn't show adequate income, include it anyway. THEN also include an employer letter from your new job , along with that as many copies of your pay stubs as possible .. with all that things should be just fine. You complete the I-134
Co-sponsors with the K-1 is hit and miss, USEM likes to see a close relative as a co-sponsor (parents, siblings) so your mom would be a good choice. She would complete the I-864 IF you needed a co-sponsor which I don't think is necessary in your case.
With all that said, since 2014 USEM has not been asking for support evidence from everyone during the interview, it has been more of a case by case situation with who is asked. Most it seem do not get asked for the support evidence .. just the same it is listed in the embassy instructions letter so you should be prepared.

I was thinking to start a thread for Manila filers to help support each other with Philippines specific requirements and resources. I figure we can also see or provide more specific timeline processing for that embassy. Also if beneficiaries want to communicate locally to help each other? Not sure if that’s redundant given this thread but this thread varies from countries. Just wondering if Manila filers would find that useful. Let me know thanks

Seriously, your case might be approved and it may still say received. One day you will just get the approval in the mail. We were approved on February 6th, and it still says "Received." Don't lose hope!
