For my interview I need to download the DS260, Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application submitted online at the ceac.state.gov, however the website has been down for a week so I cannot get it. Does anyone have any idea when the site will be back up as my interview is in a week
Thanks!

Thank you so much-- this is very helpful, Herostratus. I read elsewhere that an interview letter serves as proof that you are returning to your home country, etc. for the interview.
I don't have the interview letter yet still waiting for it to be scheduled. I do carryall the correspondence I have from USCIS and the NVC in case i asked. The one time I was pulled aside for secondary I gave them the NOA1 & NOA2 letters which satisfied them. They want to be sure you are not planning to stay in the US illegally so as long as you can show you are going through the process there shouldn't be an issue.

Hello all, stumbled upon this group just now. We filed the I-130 back in March 7, 2017 (priority date) and just had our cc June 12, 2018. Currently waiting for interview date in Montreal. Do you know if interviews are arranged in the order of priority dates? This process has been so.painfully.slow! Trying to plan our summer but everything is on "hold" so we don't miss the interview. Looks like Montreal is now almost booked up for July and now scheduling for August?
Also... we've been strongly advised not to travel to the States during this point in time (in this stage of the process). Previously, up until now, we've been travelling there with a dossier-- documentation showing current proof of employment, home ownership, etc. Anyone have experience crossing customs (i.e., travelling to the States for work or pleasure) after case has been closed, with documentation proof of returning to their country while waiting for the interview date?
Waiting for interview date, arrived at JFK last night. No issues or questions at all from the border agent. The previous time I arrived in the US (late May) I went to secondary screening.

I replaced the bad one with a new scan of the passport page. I submitted this May 30th. Still waiting to hear back.
There doesn't seem to be any logical reason why some cases get reviewed immediately after a checklist and some get sent to the back of the line again.

This is so weird to me. I got a checklist for a bad passport document and it said rejected. Everything else was accepted however they left me a note about tax documents and needing me to upload a W2 (even though I explained in my I-864 that I don’t have one due to foreign earned income). I have called NVC twice now and both reps said that the note I received was to just bring my W2 or a letter explaining why I didn’t have one to the interview and that I didn’t have to upload it. I only had to upload the document that was rejected.
This is what happened to me with the marriage certificate. Did you replace the bad copy or upload a new copy in supplementary document section?

Thanks for the details. Seems like what you experienced was an anomaly since others are waiting 3 weeks for their checklist item to be reviewed. Good for you though.
Did you upload the new copy immediately when you received the notice?
I got the notice on Monday afternoon and uploaded the new document Wednesday morning.
I replaced the original file rather than uploading a new supplementary document so perhaps that's why they reviewed the new copy so quickly.
I have seen some people wait weeks for a review after a checklist, others get a cc the same day. Unsure what may cause the difference in wait time.

I think yours was probably an exception because the document was already there so they just accepted it knowing you'll bring the original to the interview. Does your CEAC online show your new document as being accepted or just submitted?
I replaced the existing copy with a newer high resolution copy. Before uploading the new copy, it said rejected. After uploading the new copy it changed to submitted. Within 2 minutes it changed again to Accepted.

Nope, mine was a checklist. Piece of F#$&@*$#^@&$ING jkoafsdwekl
My status is still At NVC, but my case is not in line for an interview.
That is really sh*@ty....
I hope they review it for you as quickly as they did mine.

Well, I'm not sure whether to be super happy or super pissed right now, on hold for a NVC rep. Got the e-mail about checking my CEAC account and my status has now changed to "At NVC". However, it asks me to submit additional paperwork that WASN'T the incorrect form.
Praying that it's just a bring the document to interview thing and not a checklist as CEAC login shows documents were accepted.
I had this - As long as it says accepted/at NVC any further issues will be addressed at interview. I had issues with my wife's Taxes and this is what they said on the phone just now

I got a checklist on Monday for a higher resolution Marriage Certificate. Original submission date for everything was 16th May. PIVOT Case I uploaded a new copy this morning Withing two minutes my status changed to at NVC, while I was on the phone with a representative telling me it will take up to six weeks to review the new marriage certificate copy. I then phoned back to confirm I have a Case Complete.

As you can see uploading three copies of my birth certificate caused absolutely no issues

Anyone have any experience with deleted duplicate documents from CEAC? We're PIVOT, and haven't heard anything from them since the 22nd of May, but I did submit a couple of documents twice (one on purpose, and a few on accident). Will they just delete the duplicates or are they going to make me start over again?
Enough time has passed that I'm starting to worry about EVERYTHING.
Did we put the right addresses on the I-130 form? Does our joint sponsor make enough? Did we spell anything wrong?
I really want this to just be a funny memory already...
We ended up uploaded three different versions of my Birth Certificate to get it in the right format/orientation. - there was no issue
I got a checklist yesterday for an unclear marriage certificate scan which is odd as it one we uploaded is clear. - DS260 and documents were submitted 16th May.

Thanks, I am torn on what to do. Current submit document date is 16th May. Currently Pivot cases have reached 10th May If I upload more documents its another two week delay, so do I just wait the extra week incase of any additional checklist issues or upload now, delay tow weeks then risk another checklist for something else...
So uploading another document on the CEAC website did not seem to reset the 16th May original date. unfortunately the lawyer uploaded the document in black and white rather than colour so now we are going to have three copies of my birth certificate on the system.....

Question: What are people's experiences at the border while traveling to the US with the visa pending or almost complete? We are expecting a July interview (case complete now, in queue) but have a wedding of a close friend to attend a couple of weeks beforehand in the states. Is there any chance they could deny my husband entry? He will have his return ticket purchased by then and interview date set to fly back for. But no job as he will have left his company by then anticipating our move. I plan to stay there and wait for him so my ticket will be a one way.
Additionally, has anyone had experience getting an earlier interview date without medical situation or emergency?
Any insight appreciated!
I arrived in the US a few days ago (waiting for CC) I got called into the additional screening room but no one seemed to know why. When I told them I had a greencard application pending they asked me a few questions about how long I was staying, what i did etc. I showed them the letter from the NVC and it was fine.
9 minutes ago, kendraf said:I uploaded multiple of the same and it didn't seem to delay me...I did the correction same day but also added personal photos because I got paranoid of the chatter on the boards about a week later...my timeline was about 21 days which is average for when I uploaded. I would do it before they review! I swear I see lawyers messing up more than just the peeps doing it on their own! Hope you don't get delayed.

Pivot friends! Just logged in for the millionth time today for the fun of it because I am 'on vacation' aka seeing my husband while he works haha ...and ....boom!!!!! My docs just went to accepted and the email came when I was screaming in his ear on the phone!! Haha
All docs accepted! The status changed from submitted and we also got 2 messages/two emails. I had messed up one of the attachments but they saw I had fixed it in the 'additional' doc area. Omg!!
Submitted aos and iv docs 5/3
Radio silence
Approved 5/22
I hope every hears soon and this gives you some hope if you are pivot! Xo
I just realized my lawyer has uploaded my birth certificate in the wrong orientation. There was no issue having tow of the same document uploaded? I assume if I upload another document it resets the counter for when the NVC will review it.

So, it took NVC 3 weeks to qualify the one doc that was submitted in a different orientation*.
CC: 5/29/2018 (Today)
*They reviewed our docs on May 9th. And requested us to rescan the passport so the words can be read horizontally. So for the newcomers at NVC, keep this in mind.
I have just seen my lawyer changed the orientation on the birth certificate I sent her so the text is not readable horizontally so we are going to get a checklist....
Is there anyway to alter the documents that were submitted before a checklist is issued?

Good luck to everyone still waiting

Hello Everyone,
I created this account just now to give an update on my filing process. I stumbled on VJ last year October and I have been an every day silent reader since that time. I sent our filing docs to the Chicago Lockbox and I will give a run down of our timeline below;* Filing documents were sent from Chicago Lockbox to the Nebraska Service Center* Priority Date for I-130(NOA 1) - July 13, 2017*Approval Date for I-130 (NOA 2) - January 19, 2018 (Hard copy letter received in the mail January 26, 2018, 8 duplicated text messages stating case status updated, an email stating that documents have been sent to the NVC for visa processing and a USCIS app update stating the same)*190 days from NOA1 to approval*Priority Date for 1-129 (K3) (NOA 1)- August 11, 2017*Case Closed for I-129(NOA 2) - January 18, 2018 (No hard copy letter received, just 8 duplicated text messages saying case status changed, an email stating case closed and benefit or status received through other means and a USCIS app update stating the same)NB: I will like to add that after I got the texts/USCIS app update/email stating that the I-129 (K3) was closed, I called the customer service line last Friday, spoke with a Tier 1 who couldn't give me any insight. He advised me to call on a Monday between the hours of 8am - 11am and ask to speak with a Tier 2.I did just that and the Tier 2 said he can only tell me that the I-129 was closed but a letter has been sent to be printed out regarding the I-130 which would either be an approval or denial. True to his word, we waited a couple of days like he asked and got the NOA 2 approval for the I- 13O in the mail today. I also signed up for the USPS Informed Delivery and saw a snapshot of the front of the approval letter before the mail man arrived. Kindly sign up if you have not (if the service is available in your area)The wait at Nebraska can only be imagined but I had a good mix of uplifting emotions today upon seeing the approval. Please hang in there if you are still waiting at Nebraska being that they are quite backlogged. The good news is that they are looking at July cases because mine is one of them.PS: I wrote this long epistle in case anyone else is about to give up like I was. That's great news! Our PD is July 11th. This is the first July date I have seen processed at Nebraska. Just to confirm you didn't expedite at all?

Visa approved this morning.
They did make me retake the photos for the visa as the background was not white enough apparently. When they say white, they really do mean snow white! Luckily they had a photo booth in the consulate lobby so no delay with the issuance.
