Hi everyone, I applied my N400(base on 3 years marriage )on march 6th 2020 and I still haven't got my re biometric appointment. the thing is we are not doing good with my husband currently and planning to get separate. In this point I want to withdraw my application to be safe. Do you guys have any idea is it ok to withdraw for future n400 application ? and  I guess thats the right thing to do  , I'll be appreciate if you share your opinion about it.

try to walk in for the BIO if they're nice they might take them....1/10000 chances but give it a try! don't wait

Finally I can share my interview experience.

The interview was super easy and the officer was very professional and friendly. My appointment was 2:30p today and I got out there by 2:40! However, I wasn't able to get oath done today as I requested a name change which needs to be sent to court for approval.

My notice letter said I should get there 15mins before my interview. Another guy's said 30mins. But when we got there, we were told 10mins.

The only documents they asked from me were the interview notice letter and my GC.

The officer spent more time on confirming my basic info -

    - name, DOB, marital status, & # of kids

    - current address, how long I have been living at this address, & phone #

    - where do i work and how long have I been with the company

    - name I want to change to

She also asked me if I have even been outside US for 6 mons or longer. I told her no but I had a trip after submitted my application. She asked me whether it was over 6 mons and my answer was no. She then said never mind.

She didn't ask me any Q's about previous addresses or employment. She did, however, show me that she crossed out the unemployment line I put down. When I filled out the form online, the system didnt allow me to have a 2-week gap. So I had to put that down as unemployment.

    Civics test Q's include -

    - what did Emancipation Proclamation do

    - who is the president

    - who is the vice president

    - how many justices are in the Supreme Court

    - when was the Constitution written

    - I dont recall the 6th question. I am not even sure whether there was a 6th one

Reading - How many senators do we have

Writing - We have one hundred senators

She went over those Yes/No questions very fast. My memory is vague and am not sure whether she asked all questions or combined some questions. I did tell her I had a traffic ticket but wasn't sure whether I should write it down. She asked if it cost me more than $500. I told her no. She said some traffic tickets matter while some don't. "what was your story". After hearing my story she said no need to put it there.

She did go over the Oath of Allegiance part very thorough.

The whole process was a great experience. We had small talks during the interview. At the end she remind me to keep a copy when I receive a form from them, sign and return to them.

    CONGRATZ!!!!!!!! WHERE DID YOU FILED?

    Biometrics Walk in

Hello, I went to the ASC but were told that they don’t do any walk ins. They only do the scheduled and no less or more than that due to coronavirus even tho the office looked empty. I asked them if i can stay till the end of the day and do it but nope.
I don’t know when they are going to re schedule me since mine were scheduled for March 18 the same day the office closed. On the letter it says they will reschedule it and we don’t have to call so I don’t even know if i should call them. I am very sure they are going to say to wait and they will reschedule it themselves.
Online I don’t even have estimated wait time just have estimated completion time.

    ASC - Elizabeth NJ

im sorry to hear that :( my friend she tried to do Bio Walk in the very first day and the employees were super rude and frustrated!!! the lady outside od the lobby was yelling at this elder couple! ahhh so frustrating! but the lady forgot to check her appointment letter and let her in! (pretty much she snook in) but she mentioned that there was like only two persons getting the biometrics inside the building.... she was out in less than 5minutes! I don't get it! why they can't just take more people if they're not busy! SMH! but well good luck everyone! stay sane!

Hello everyone. When i check case status online, I noticed that there is estimated case completion but no estimated wait time. My biometrics were scheduled for March 18 and when i went to the ASC the office was closed due to covid situation. I still didn’t get new schedule for biometrics. The note on the office said that they will automatically  re-schedule it when the offices are open and I don’t have to call. I was just wondering if anyone is in the same situation and got there biometrics scheduled again or anybody missing estimated wait time as well.

Thank you sir! I assume that New Hampshire is the National Passport Center in Porthsmouth, NH where passports are being processed and the main U.S. Dept. of State National Passport Processing Center is in Sterling, Virginia.

Good for you, your long wait is over.

Congratulations Luis562 finally! I just don't understand why in your case you applied with expedited processing and yet you didn't get your passport very soon like Myrna & alexpop who submitted a week before and the other a week after you and yet they received their passports third week of March. That's really nerve wracking.

I know!!!! was so nerve-wracking the app. was received march 9 since then it was a calvary of wait! thanks got its kinda over!!!! good luck to everyone still waiting !🥰

Finally received my passport today! ! ! the journey is now over for me, thanks everyone and this site for all the information shared during all my processes. I applied at the post office in Saint Louis, MO on February 24 with routine service. Checks were cashed on February 27. This morning I got the email notification that my passport is being printed and that I should received it by Thursday next week at the latest. However my USPS email notification this morning showed that I was going to received a package from Passport services today from Arkansas. So, my passport was delivered today June 20 but the envelope says is coming from the government office in New Orleans, LA. My passport was issue on June 18. Good luck to everyone still waiting, I hope my timeline gives you and idea where the State Department is at now

OMG!!!! WHAT A GREAT NEW! CONGRATZ!! I applied next week than yours! hopefully hopefully we hear something soon! congratulations again!
