I believe the original is required yes

And i am not sure which country youre from but in canada we are unable to schedule medicals without interviews so i think thats a country specific question

Aww shoot.. really? So I have to send a letter of intent via mail to the Philippines.. I was thinking to just print and sign it myself then scan the doc with my actualy signature on it and email to my fiance. Cuz I mean, its still technically my signature. Will they really be that nitpicky about it during the interview? :(

  2. Hi friends,

We received our NVC case number on 08/18, the day of our anniversary. So excited! Hoping that everyone is on the right track as well.

    Anyways, my question is

    1) Will the NVC case number be sufficient to schedule a medical interview?

    2) During the interview, it statea that we need to create a new letter of intent dated closer to the day of the interview. Do they require an original hand written signature? Or will I be able to just do the signature and scan/send to fiance?

Thank you guys for all your help! :)

Hi. When you called the uscis lastweek and said yours was still pending, have you talked to a tier 2 officer or just a customer service representative? Congratulations! We're on our 135 days now and no noa2 yet 😔💔

Just a customer service rep. I brought up that many applicants have been experiencing issues with the tracker so I tried to make them do a thorough review of my application hoping to hear something different than the usual Case Received status that we see everyday.

The guy tells me it's pending and they are still working on cases from January 1, 2017. When I asked him what he thinks might be the estimated timeframe for my NOA1 date, he says, "More than likely two and a half months" I just kinda gave up from there and a few days later, NOA2 IN THE MAIL!!!!

USCIS customer service is useless. They seem to go by their broken system and so therefore, unless it's past the 5 month mark, I'd just check the mail everyday.
