Well sorry friend, I am also on the same page, 8 weeks nothing happened yet, California service center said they it’s in transit since December 26. I have to call tomorrow to make sure it was sent on the 26 of December. After my service inquiry to both NVC, USCIS and California service center, I received 3 email last week. One was from USCIS around 1pm saying the case was approved and they don’t have any jurisdiction and advice me to contact NVC. NVC send email around 2pm saying that they don’t have my application bla bla bla. And around 3pm on the same day I got email from California service center saying it’s in transit to the visa center and they don’t have any jurisdiction. So the next day after the email which was Thursday I called around 8 am to speak to tir 2 officer. I specially asked him where is my application? When was the application sent out to NVC, and what do I need to do if the approval expire before I get anything from NVC. He said all I can see if we have approved it and he could not tell me what I asked. He said contact your congress. I was pissed so bad I think I have cursed him. So I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said due to the weather we all all working from home but let check other systems. He said we have sent the application to NVC after it was approved, so after another request we have sent a copy of the application to NVC on December 26. Which I was a bit shocked since they are working from home I felt like he just want me to feel better. So I left it as is, tomorrow I will be making a call to uscis and ask to speak to tir 2 officer to gave a better answer. If it’s true they have sent it on December 26 I should be hearing from nvc by this week. If noting happen again, I will be sending email back to nvc, uscis, Ethiopian embassy just to keep them in the loop and also the Congress.
When you do make a call make sure you asked for name and agent ID, when they know you are actually taking note they seems to respond better and they won’t hang up. (I had a few phone hang ups before)
let hops this week will have a better answer to all of us
ALSO I have scheduled a meeting with a local uscis office next week if things don’t happen this week.

Seven and a half weeks from NOA2 approval. Still nothing. Our lawyer sent an inquiry last week, but I’m feeling so down. I’m having a hard time this weekend. Feeling very depressed. I really thought he’d hear something last week.
Nothing.

No approvals today per the spreadsheet...? Ughhh. Our NOA2 11/21/17; nothing at the NVC as of 01/03. I haven't called today cause I read they're overwhelmed with phone calls.
Bigger question: Did the post office actually -receive- or deliver any mail to the NVC yesterday or today? Looks like the USPS is open up there per USPS.com/service disruptions.
I've been contemplating emailing the NVC-Research email but I feel like that's just a waste of time, everyone seems kind of in the same boat/waiting time. Very frustrating. We were so excited back on 11/21/17 to finally get our NOA2 and I told my Fiance... "The NVC part next goes quick! They should get the paperwork from the USCIS in the next couple weeks, give another couple days to a week or so turnaround there and we'll be scheduling our interview by Christmas for sometime in January!"
....and he we are....waiting. I wish we sent our application back in April instead (we are a 05/31 filier)...cause the October NOA2's went to the NVC fast.
yep, April or before April was a fast process. They are taking their time. no oe received any update from NVC today

Does anyone know it the NVC is open today? Closed yesterday due to the Bomb Cyclone (I swear they make these names up). I bet they are closed today too and they had a Holiday this past Monday. And guess what? They get another Holiday the 15th of January for MLK Day.
Yes they are open for business...... 🤞🏿

Happy New Year to you sis from another miss! Glad to hear you're still around. I'm actually flying out Friday morning (can't wait) and will not return until the 15th. Saturday is my birthday and I need a lift in moral and spirit so I will be with my love.
I put my inquiry too on 12/26 and on 12/27 it updated and said it has been assigned to an officer for response (ha, what a joke). I'm done calling USCIS because they seem to get more rude and nasty and I'm not beyond over this mess! The inquiry said I should hear something back by 1/17 and Tier 2 told me last week I should hear something back by 1/12. So, they have until 1/17 and then I'll start with the Ombudsman next! But every week I call I keep getting told mid-January I will hear something!!! Yeah, right!!
So, I'm leaving this mess here, gonna enjoy my time with my right lung (my son is my left lung), and be stress free!!! Hopefully, I will have something in my mailbox when I get back (I doubt it). I turn 38 Saturday and I want to enjoy be able to be here another year with a smile on my face and not filled with sadness. I go back to being sad when I get back on the plane without him on the 15th.
Happy birth day, and have a safe trip.

So I have been on a short vacation and been busy with my sick mom. No NOA2 for me yet, put in a Inquiry, since the June 1st update. No response to that. Coming to wish everyone a belated Happy New Year and to say what’s up to @Trinab80 😘. It seems most May Filers have fell into the Black Hole either with USCIS or NVC. I will update y’all when I and if I get my call back from the Tier 2 in 164 minutes 😂.
You will be waiting to hear from them, I tried but they are getting hit with phone calls

Did they say they will get back to you tomorrow or Friday? They did not tell me anything in the email but to just wait, they will investigate....same letter everyone gets, from Carlos.
So about two weeks ago I spoke to a supervisor from their New York location of uscis customer service. They said they have someone who will be assigned to look at the book case. And I should hear from them either today or tomorrow. The nvc also sent out email today from Carlos

I Called NVC after 55 days , I don’t have any respons rather just wait. Either tomorrow or Thursday I should hear from the officer that was assigned to my case via email.

On the "K1 Visa - NOA2 to NVC Time Tracker" spreadsheet you put "1/2/2017". I don't think anyone want to repeat the agonizing wait.
lucky you, well i will call them later tonight to see if they have something for me.
every one make sure you put the correct year 2018.

I just sent a 2nd request to senator and gave them website update and told them I'm very frustrated that theyve been in June cases for 2 months and ours isn't done. I better hear something soon. This is just stupid now. If I lived in California I'd be on their doorstep every day.
I think since April they started slowing down processing K-1.
