It depends on your employer. Are they easy to speak to, you could explain to them you need more visits with your spouse to increase your chances in getting your spouse here. What is your company policy, where i worked i was allow to go visit my fiancee anytime i wanted as long as i had the vacation time. I get 7 weeks off a year so i was able to visit my fiancee twice a year. 
 
I guess just be honest with your employer and let them know how important it is to you. You might have an employer who understands and it does not hurt to try.

I suggest having an immigration lawyer to take a second look if you are unsure of yourself. It might save you a lot of time when it comes to avoiding a RFE.
