Yes, DHL it is. I have never seen a case where one had to pick up from the embassy.

You have to pick up from DHL in Lagos. You can have a paid delivery in Port Harcourt.

1. Payment for the green card would be after the interview.

2. Mine is an employment based case but from what I've seen on here, it'll be nice to have the chats printed out as evidence even though the consular officer hardly ever looks at them.

3. The P4 letter is all you're expecting at this time so if you already have it, you're god to go. Get your medicals done at least 2weeks ahead of your interview, gather originals of your documents alongside photocopies etc..

Other VJ users can validate the information and add as necessary.

11weeks from when NVC acknowledges receipt of your package with documents.

C'mon, you sure will and I'll be here to rejoice with you. I know a few people who called yesterday, got nothing but had their dates today. I called in this morning and was told it was scheduled yesterday.

So I just got off the phone with NVC to confirm received date of my packet 9/14.  I asked "so is this the scan date" operator says "maam I don't know what you mean by scan date...we received 9/14"  I said "Ok any other information you can give at this time?" her answer "no, you need to give us 11 weeks to review".    

 

So would I consider 9/14 my scan date?

Our scan date is August 10....I am praying so hard that we are at least in review soon! 

You can just ask if there's any update on your case. That's enough for the agent to say if it's in review or you've got a CC.
