Interview August 22nd. I can't believe after 9 long years in a long distance relationship, it is so close to being over.

I feel so overwhelmed and scared for my husband's interview. I am thinking the worst for some reason, but trying to stay positive!

Guys we are all so close!!

Your husband will be fine everything will go well. Congratulations in advance.

Thank you 🙏 I will see if I can get more docs just to be safe about it...

my interview is in 9 days on the 13th of August and I’m really nervous!

    How was your interview?

It was my husband going, quick and smooth as he says few questions. Just to confirm what they already have, who is petitioning for you? How did they get to America? Where does ur spouse work? Such questions. All be fine. Let us know the outcome but definitely it will be good news.

    Guys, I need some help!

I am gathering everything I need to bring to the interview and this doubt came up...

at NVC stage, for the sponsor docs I submitted w2, 1040A and 1040X + pay stubs + employment letter for my husband. Now, for my co sponsor I only submitted tax return transcript + pay stubs + employment letter.

I remember it saying I could submit one OR the othes. Everything was well accepted.

Looking at the check list for the interview though, I see them requiring the docs but at no moment I see them saying “OR”... does that mean I need to bring all of them?  Do I need the w2 and 1040 from my cosponsor as well my husbands tax return transcript or should I just bring the ones that were accepted by NVC

    HELLLLP 😱

Hi, I would say bring what NVC accepted already and if u can get for your cosponsor you should. They might check and they might not. Better to be prepared than not as for the transcript NVC has them already so no need. All the best when is your interview?

    Congratulations in advance.

Certifies copies, I sent 3 years worth of tax, I didn't use a sponsor, police clearance, evidence of the relationship I had our friends write an affidavit that they witnessed our marriage.

So for the interview they send you a list to take with you. Its original copies of everything you send to NVC, current police report, Ds-260 receipt, Affidavit of support (1-854A that was mine since I didn't have a sponsor) ample evidence, medical receipt, 4 passport pictures, and the passport. But the checklist will accompany the interview letter. Do you have a date yet?

    Husband visa approved💃💃💃💃💃💃

He said he was asked few question.

CO: when did you meet and how?

How did your wife get to the US?

    How often has she traveled?

    Where does she work?

    How old is her daughter?

    Visa approved.

He was given some papers about rules in the US. He will collect his visa from the DHL hopefully tomorrow or Monday.

I dnt know if they stopped giving out that sealed packet coz he wasn't told or given anything. So we shall wait until he gets his Visa. But all in all am grateful to this group. Keep the faith your time is coming.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Hi, quick question. My interview will be in London and my wife is in America. She uploaded her own documents and her mams as she doesn’t earn enough so her mam is household member.

I don’t have to take her and her mothers original documents do I? Like passport, birth certificates, tax returns etc??

I don’t think my wife and mother in laws documents like that should be sent in the post.

Not original documents but copies then you go with the original to the interview. At least for my consulate they require the one going for interview to take original copies. Hope this helps alittle.
