it disappears after you finished your biometrics
first it appeared as 30 or 31 days, then it disappeared after biometrics, couple of days later, it will come back again, but it shows number of months, normally one month less

Does anyone know what the "estimated time" section at the bottom of the online portal means? This is the one separate from the estimated case completion time field.

- Crimes. ...
- Lying. ...
- Taxes. ...
- Child support. ...
- English.
- Unwilling to take full oath without providing a strong religious reason with letters of support
- Not reporting adverse information immediately prior to your oath ceremony (between your approval and ceremony)
- Traveling to certain countries prior to the ceremony
- Other factors, finding conflicting information, (my cousin has legally 3 kids, kid #3 was determined not to be biological his, he told the agent that he has 2 kids, DENIED)
- Agent waking up on the wrong side of his bed
PICK ONE AND PEOPLE WILL GUIDE YOU IN TE RIGHT DIRECTION. I know a guy that went for the interview in Boston and the agent told him if I were you I will just walk out and don't go inside for the interview... the guy just walked out.
would you be able to provide more details about it? i am just curious

USCIS has 120 days from the date of the initial naturalization interview to issue a decision. If the decision is not issued within 120 days of the interview, an applicant may request judicial review of his or her application in district court. The officer must base his or her decision on the laws, regulations, precedent decisions, and governing policies.

in an idea world, that would be the case, if every government agencies follow the rule of the law, nothing wouldnt be mess like this, but in reality, many things seem very different. sure, one can take government agency to the court, but it takes time and energy, and it also involve money, a lot of money

Hey Group,
I just got home from my passport stamp appointment since my I-751 is still pending, everyone from the security to front desk and Agent who assisted me were incredibly nice helpful, the agent (IO) took plenty of time to go through both my I-751 and N-400 he told me my I-751 is currently and the NBC center since I submitted N-400, he called a colleague to get a second thought on something he saw but it was because I have traveled a lot abroad but nothing to worry about. He stamped my passport for 1 year and let me keep my expired green card (since he said interviewers like to see the actual green card) he then said once they get the file there (local office) they will go ahead and schedule a combined interview for both I-751 and N-400, he then looked again at the statues in a different system I guess and he even said you will hear soon from your N-400 and winked his eye (it seems he liked us, I know if by being a Gay couple Helps lol) he said anytime time this week or even today you will be notified of an action taken on your case.
Good luck to everyone and I hope everyone going to the local offices get a smooth and nice experience just like I did have.
really? i thought gay couple would get silent treatment more, oh boy, i am deadly wrong on this

What I find interesting is that there is no status change on USCIS DHS website nor any notifications received! I found out on the app. Could be timing though.
my experience is that egov account updates quicker than dhs account does, most of the time

damn, not sure if its good or bad.usually they do interviews for i 751 if they think its a fraud case, but i maybe wrong since you have n400 interview aswell so they just decided to wrap up both together while at it.either way good luck and hope you get citizenship soon.also wondering where is your field office? did you apply for n400 recently?
it is true they will definitely interview those cases that they suspect fraud, they also do random interview for i-751 cases as well

Hello everyone! Please help me..
i applied for I-751 to remove conditions from my conditional green card last week. But I have a problem, I got arrested 2 months back for shoplifting and when I went to the court my attorney was able to reduce charges to petty disorderly person offense which carries a possible jail sentence of 30 days but I didn’t spend any jail time because it’s my first offense. And I am not on probation either. I just paid a fine of around 400$.
me and my husband are happily married and we have 2 little kids. Now my question is, can I still get 10 years green card with this petty disorderly person offense or no?
and next may I will be eligible for citizenship, should I go ahead and apply or I have to show 3 years of good moral character even though my charge is not a crime of moral turpitude.
thank you sooo much for your help and your time I really appreciate it!
if i were you, i would just concentrate on i-751 application.
if i-751 is approved, i would wait at least 7 to 8 years to file n-400.
during this 7 to 8 years, staying out of ANY troubles, including speeding tickets

Hello everybody!
First of all, congrats to all who've been approved last couple of weeks!
Second, I also got the "new" extension letter that, in my case, will be good for amazing 28 days, woohoo! 😬
Other than that, still waiting...very frustrated and tired of this whole process.
Cheers!
care to take a picture of your "new" extension notice and post here? would like to see how it words

Look, i never told you not to use it, it's your own free will to use it if you want too. LOL!
As for me, that tracker is pointless since USCIS adjucated the applications randomly.
no, you did not, someone else did, or tried
i was just stating how i see it, thats all

Lol, it doesn't take more than a couple of minutes to login to your USCIS account and check. What is so extra work in that? If it was going too much out of your way to do that, then I understand it is extra work... That sounds too lazy on your end!
i dont think that comment is necessary

Hi guys, I had my biometrics on July 26th and since July 27th I keep seeing this status. Just out of curiosity, what is the next update or how long does it take for them to schedule an interview. Any ideas?
it could stay there for next 8 or 9 months, if the estimate is accurate

Ops! Sorry we thought it would be the approval letter. I forgot that about 2 months ago I read that they will start to send 18 months extension letters instead of 12 months. And for those people who have already the extension letters they will send them a new letter with additional 6 months of extend.
Good luck for you and for all.
approval notice is normally just one page, his/her image shows two pages

Oh i never use it though, my friend use it and I even mentioned to her she's not allowed. LOL!
let's assume case tracker app creator has authorization from uscis to use its data, if uscis doesnt allow users to search many other cases' status, it would say so on the agreement with case tracker app creator. if that is the case, then case tracker creator would violate the agreement since the app allows user to search other cases. case tracker's search feature is very popular, it helps users a lot.

You shouldn't have done this. And I shouldn't have to tell you that, since it's common sense that these other cases don't belong to you. It's information about other people stored on a federal computer system, which you're accessing without authorization. If it sounds shady, it is. Read the terms of service for the USCIS website. Unauthorized access is a violation that may result in administrative or criminal penalties. Other users should make a note of this.
many people are trying to get sense how the cases around their are going, if you dont wanna do it, thats fine
