Sorry but this post is just off. So because others have waited longer than others, only those who have waited the lost have a right to be upset? You realize that some people wait MONTHS after same-month applicants have already entered the country? It's just how it is. No one should make themselves king/queen to decide who can be miserable and who can't. I understand your angst and would be going nuts too if i were in the same situation, but every situation is unique and you don't know each person's situation. Maybe you've waited X days longer than me, but also maybe your fiancé is from an ESTA country and so could come here whenever, whereas some of us have fiancées who will never get tourist visas so we haven't seen them for months and thus are solely reliant on NOA2 approval til we can see them again. Being a May 15th filer doesn't give one the right  to minimize the suffering of a May 16th, etc. this place is to commiserate and share knowledge, not to police who can and cannot express dissatisfaction with an extremely inefficient process. I try not to rant on here but I couldn't help myself this time. I hope you get NOA2 approval ASAP.

Your reply to my post is so ignorant!!

I was merely reiterating posts that have been posted previously.

I was merely reiterating that sensitivity should be used before posting - in order that others are not offended.

Please note: I never used caps lock to reply to posts - a respect that was not shown to me by other members.

I am the beneficiary (in the UK) and I have not seen my fiancée since August 2016! There are circumstances behind everyone’s situation - all should be taken into account.

As far as I’m concerned, this is closed.

I am closing this VJ account as I just don’t need the stress from inconsiderate people like you.

Anyone else who has a problem with my posts can, quite frankly - DO ONE!!

    PKG1090 - out!

    Really???? Really?????????????

May 15th here and seeing approvals way after the 15th!!!

Do you read any of the posts from earlier??? There are a number of us who are fed up with posts like this, when here are those of us, and some way before May 15th, who are still waiting to hear!!!

I’m done with this forum and the insensitivity!!!

    Good luck to you all

Yeah, some have been very unsympathetic. It is hard. I'm starting to wonder if there's something wrong with my case. It's messing with my head ! Lol

I just saw the post just before your reply to my reply to you (smh)

I think for my personal sanity I’m going to have to leave VJ.

There are just too many insensitive posts from late May filers.

We’re all missing our partners and just want to be with them.

Poor @Shoegum, who has been doing us all a favour by posting the scans, keeps being bugged by a number of forum members. I think some forget that he is not USCIS staff - just a guy in the same boat as us but trying to give us all hope.

I for one, am very grateful to him for his hard work.

So, with a heavy heart, I’m out.

Peace, love and blessings to you all.

Okay so for those who are still waiting to see their day even be touched, please stop being sarcastic with those who are venting because they have been passed up by week's. Try and be sympathetic. Some of us early-mid may filers are being passed again and again while we watch late May filers getting their approvals and it's stressful. So for someone who filed late May to say the things that are being said, it's tough. When it starts happening to you, I'm sure your words will change as you will finally understand how it feels. As of me, I'm may 11th and I'm sure I'll hear something eventually. It's not like I'm crying that my case has disappeared. I'm just frustrated. I miss my fiance. I miss him terribly. And I wish he was here "/ I'm trying to just go with the flow and not think about it too much. We can try to be optimistic, but that only lasts so long. So again, please be sympathetic when those of us who are going through the same thing are venting about it. It helps to have the support from visa journey. This site has been a savior in this long journey.

Thank you so much for posting this.

I posted something similar yesterday and still, unsympathetic messages were posted by late May filers.

My fiancée and I are May 15 filers.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who shares your feelings.

Praying for you and your fiancé.

I was referring to the extra $225 we’re paying in addition to the fee of last year, when they were completing within approx 90 days.

We paid $525 for our petition.

I am not as concerned  about the fee as I am as how fast they cashed my check.  The same day they received my application...gone from my bank account electronically.  They should wait to process our payments until they process our petitions and you know they would move way the F faster.  And now I hear they told a caller it may take up to a year?  They make up the rules as they go!?  This is not a tax refund, this is peoples lives.  What's the old adage, justice delayed is justice denied?   When my Fiancé and I applied, the wait was maybe 3-4 months, I am at 142 days today with no end in site, and I know I am in the behind numerous April and May filers and god knows how many countless petitions after me.  My fiancé got a European Schengen visa to meet me in 15, FIFTEEN DAYS.  When is it OK to be mad, when is it OK to say hey buddies,  you are doing a piss poor job and its not acceptable!

    I completely agree with you!

As we would say here in England: “it seems like they don’t know their ####### from their elbow” (not to offend anyone with my comments).

I did a little calculation about the extra money:-

    $225 x 1000 (approx) applications per day received = $225,000 per day!

    $225,000 x 5 days open = $1,125,000 per week!!!

    $1,125,000 x 52 weeks = $58,500,000 per year!!!

So: if they pay one person $22,500 per year - out of one (1) day’s worth of applications, they could hire ten (10) extra people!!

There really is no ‘financial’ reason that we should be waiting this bloody long!

We all just want to marry our fiancées and have a happy life and make plans!!
