@Lane O my ds260 opened yesterday and I filled it. My documents were received on Thursday. When should I call and ask about my scan date? What about you. What' your scan date?

I paid the IV Fee on March 29. I did not call or send an inquiry. 

 

Ok so exactly one week. I think mine will be Saturday or Monday hopefully.  

 Mine still shows in process but I paid on last Saturday.  Also is it possible to print the ds260 confirmation page later after filling cause I am going on holiday tomorrow and don't know if I will have a printer available.

Hope so it opens soon. When did you pay the iv fees. I paid on Saturday but still says in process. Documents posted today.  They will receive in 2 days.

Did you call nvc to find out if they received your documents. So they won't scan the documents until we do the ds260? Or will they?

I am in the same position as you.  Just ds260 left to do. Iv Payment still shows in process but it's taken from the bank today. My son has sent the package today to nvc.

Carefully remove the staple. I have papers send from my parents, and it was stapled by the government there, so I only has one choice to remove it. I dont think it will be a problem. They just dont want you to stable it because they cannot scan your paper like that.

CAN SOMEONE REPLY URGENTLY!  MY SON IS ABOUT TOO POST THE DOCUMENTS TO NVC BUT HE STAPLED SOME PAPERS.  IS THAT ALLOWED CAUSE I READ SOMEWHERE WE SHOULD NOT STAPLE ANY PAPERS.  PLZ REPLY ASAP

Congratulations @Dassie. Can You answer some  of  my questions? 

Did you send the aos and iv documents in one envelope for BOTH your parents or did you send them separately one for mom and one for dad?

Can we use highlighter to highlight some thing on the documents to bring to the attention of the nvc officer?

@H & H are u submitting police certificate as well. I read its not required so I didn't get one from pak.

I have exactly same.  But I m in London and it's non pivot so I will post all of them photocopies. 

Mine is non pivot regular case.  I only have to fill the ds260 form online.  Do you guys think it's ok to send the aos and iv package to nvc while I wait for the ds260 to open for me to fill.

I received case number on the 22nd late night when they were closing. Filled ds260 and paid aos fees on the 27th. Paid iv fees on the 31st

But it all varies from case to case.

Now I am waiting to fill the ds260. But its not allowing me to do now

The day I got my case number and invoice number I couldn't log in for 5 days.  It kept saying case is not ready. After 5 days I could log in and fill ds261 and pay aos fees. Then next day got welcome letter. Then 2 days after i could pay the iv fees

Welcome letter gives you the case number and invoice number which you already got.  Plus there was the invoice for aos fee but I paid before welcome letter.
