Hi,
My husband arrive on a `K1 visa, got married April 12, and filled for I765, I485, I131 on May 4th. We just got his I485 interview date. However we have not received the EAD yet. Is this normal? Do you think we will receive the EAD before the interview?

I’m sure this question has been posted before, but I’m going to ask.
What do we do after we get the NOA2? Can someone tag me in the info if this has already been posted?
Thanks guyz!!!
Also my fiancé just visited me this past week. We try to see each other every 2 months and we thought we’d have him here by February but since that was out of the picture he flew to Florida from London. He didn’t have any problems at the border he said the officer said “good luck with your visa.”

I felt so personally hurt that i (rudely) took it as a good time to tell her how selfish she was to have such a great partner that WAS IN HER BED and she could not even appreciate it. some of us beg for only one week with our loved ones which at this time of the year is so expensive. To think that we were unfortunate enough to find love at the other side of the world but brave enough to try to hold on to it is such a strength. To all you that are reading this, it may take forever but it will be here. Today i made a conscious decision to remember how badly i want him here that i will never take it for granted.
USCIS don't make me pull the car over....Give me my NOA2!!!!!!
Yep! If i get one more question from friends or family asking me "so hows it going with your visa?" I am going to scream.... No one understands this process. urgh

I just checked my timeline and it has moved back another week!
Has anyone thought about calling the USCIS Customer Service Number? I was just looking on my NOA1 and it says to call 800-375-5283. I wonder if that would help or not. Anyone else scared they will wait forever only to find out USCIS lost the documents or something like that. Anyways maybe i'll call. Also, I saw you can set up an appointment at a USCIS office to get information. Thoughts?

How exactly do you login?
i was never given a login. I just downloaded the app and put in my NOA1 reference number, but I feel like that is not my "login"

Does anyone know if your supposed to login the uscis website occasionally to check your status? I read somewhere if you don't your case will be thrown out. Thoughts?

Not at all especially if he has the NOA 2 already in hand.
The important thing is to be sure he updates his address with USCIS.
What about the fact that he put my address on the I129f form when it asked the question about address in the US.

Looks like you will be moving right before your NOA 2 will arrive.
You will just need to send in a change of address.
The foreigner doesn't need to do anything regarding your change of address.
When they fill out the DS-160 Visa Application they will just have to put your NEW address there.
Be sure to put a change of address for mail forwarding at www.usps.com
Take care
Well I am not sure of the date of my move. It may be after I get the noa2, so it may be when my fiancé is in the interview stage. Do you think my (petitioner) change of address at the later stages is a problem?

Hi! I just received my noa1 in the mail dated that it was received June 30th. So I may be moving around September. Anyone heard of the cons of changing your address during this transition? Will my beneficiary have to do anything different? Do you think forms with my previous address will be a problem ?

I am going to write a check for the $535. Who do I write it out to?

I am mailing my package with all documents this weekend. I have the papers in sheet protectors and I was going to put them all in a 3 inch binder. Do you think this is necessary or should I just stack them all in order and mail that way?

What do you think about this...so my fiance was in the U.S. visiting me May 31st. So his fiance letter of intent is dated May 31, 2017. I just completed everything else and dated all form 6/17/17. Do you think it is a big deal that we have different dates?

If you're using that version of the I-129f, the G325a isn't needed.
What about the expired g1145?

Where are you from?
I am scared now my forms may get revoked. I have a form i-129f expires 08/2018. So that should be accepted, but my form g325a expires 06/30/17 and g 1145 expired 09/30/2016.
i can't find anymore forms that have later dates of expiration but these. I am mailing the package this weekend. Thoughts?

Another question about form i-129f Item Numbers 37. - 38.h. Form I-94 Arrival-Departure Record.................
My fiance is Italian and came here on an esta for a week visit....so does he put "yes" that he came? He does not have a 1-94 history.
Here is what the guidelines say but i am not sure what to write...
"Select the box to indicate whether your beneficiary has ever been in the United States. Provide the date of your beneficiary’s most recent entry in the United States, hisor her I-94 Arrival-Departure Record Number, if available, and his or her immigration status at the time of arrival (for
example, student, tourist, temporary worker, without inspection). Provide the expiration date and identification numbers
on the I-94 or I-95 Arrival-Departure Records, travel documents, and or passports. See the What Evidence Should You
Submit section of these Instructions for additional information." -
On form i-129f.......Item Numbers 50.a. - 51.b. Places You Have Resided. Provide all of the U.S. states and foreign countries in which you
have resided since you reached 18 years of age. If you need extra space to complete this section, use the space provided
in Part 8. Additional Information."since you reached 18"
is this before I reached 18 or after i reached 18?

Hi All! Can anyone help me with this question. My beneficiary is Italian but he lives in the U.K., so when asked which consulate he would like to have his interview we put Edinburgh because that is nearest to him. I read a few places that it is okay for him to choose a consulate that is not his home country but is closest to where he currently lives. Can anyone confirm what I am thinking is correct?

Best way to pay when mailing in the i-129f visa ....check or money order?
I485 NO EAD
in Work Visas
Posted
Also wanted to add the interview date is September 25th. So we are trying to figure out when I should quit my job. He has a job offer but we have to move so I have to quit. I actually already quit but they are letting me stay until our interview date. I’m wondering if we will get his work permit or green card by Oct 1. Thoughts?
And they did a weird thing on the NOA...they put his name and then c/o “his dads name.” His dad lives in Italy so that was a mistake. I went through all our forms and it was definitely their mistake. Any advice on moving forward with this mistake?
