    Hi,

My husband arrive on a `K1 visa, got married April 12, and filled for I765, I485, I131 on May 4th. We just got his I485 interview date. However we have not received the EAD yet. Is this normal? Do you think we will receive the EAD before the interview?

Also wanted to add the interview date is September 25th. So we are trying to figure out when I should quit my job. He has a job offer but we have to move so I have to quit. I actually already quit but they are letting me stay until our interview date. I’m wondering if we will get his work permit or green card by Oct 1. Thoughts?

And they did a weird thing on the NOA...they put his name and then c/o “his dads name.” His dad lives in Italy so that was a mistake. I went through all our forms and it was definitely their mistake. Any advice on moving forward with this mistake?

  3. I’m sure this question has been posted before, but I’m going to ask.

What do we do after we get the NOA2? Can someone tag me in the info if this has already been posted?

    Thanks guyz!!!

Also my fiancé just visited me this past week. We try to see each other every 2 months and we thought we’d have him here by February but since that was out of the picture he flew to Florida from London. He didn’t have any problems at the border he said the officer said “good luck with your visa.”

  4. I just checked my timeline and it has moved back another week!

Has anyone thought about calling the USCIS Customer Service Number? I was just looking on my NOA1 and it says to call 800-375-5283. I wonder if that would help or not. Anyone else scared they will wait forever only to find out USCIS lost the documents or something like that. Anyways maybe i'll call. Also, I saw you can set up an appointment at a USCIS office to get information. Thoughts?

Looks like you will be moving right before your NOA 2 will arrive.

You will just need to send in a change of address.

The foreigner doesn't need to do anything regarding your change of address.

When they fill out the DS-160 Visa Application they will just have to put your NEW address there.

Be sure to put a change of address for mail forwarding at www.usps.com

    Take care

Well I am not sure of the date of my move. It may be after I get the noa2, so it may be when my fiancé is in the interview stage. Do you think my (petitioner) change of address at the later stages is a problem?

  6. Another question about form i-129f Item Numbers 37. - 38.h. Form I-94 Arrival-Departure Record.................

My fiance is Italian and came here on an esta for a week visit....so does he put "yes" that he came? He does not have a 1-94 history.

Here is what the guidelines say but i am not sure what to write...

"Select the box to indicate whether your beneficiary has ever been in the United States. Provide the date of your beneficiary’s most recent entry in the United States, hisor her I-94 Arrival-Departure Record Number, if available, and his or her immigration status at the time of arrival (for
example, student, tourist, temporary worker, without inspection). Provide the expiration date and identification numbers
on the I-94 or I-95 Arrival-Departure Records, travel documents, and or passports. See the What Evidence Should You
Submit section of these Instructions for additional information."

  7. Hi All! Can anyone help me with this question. My beneficiary is Italian but he lives in the U.K., so when asked which consulate he would like to have his interview we put Edinburgh because that is nearest to him.  I read a few places that it is okay for him to choose a consulate that is not his home country but is closest to where he currently lives. Can anyone confirm what I am thinking is correct?
