So, finally we got approved since November 8.
My Fiancé told me he received the NOA2 via mail yesterday, (Nov. 14). We never had updates or notifications coming from USCIS website and Case Tracker applications.
At least, this long wait is so over.

My gosh, we got the letter from the Ambassy yesterday!!! 🎉🎉🎉They sent it to my uncle's address, right when I was in the plane to visit my fiancé in the States! I got the good news when I landed!
I know it's a long process but I stoped stressing out and being worried about the process in August and that's when I got my NAO2 and then the letter!
Congratulations!!!

So how did you go about setting this up? Is there a very long wait to make a date? Thanks in advance
I just went to their website, checked for GCP. There's few questions to answers in their site and you also have to input your email and they will send you the instructions via email. From September, there are still more slots available, so really, you don't have to wait longer. Unless, you personally choose the later dates.

Mayb i can give her my email to use
Yes. It's the GCP.
Well she needs to have an email to schedule an appointment.

FYI for those fiance(e) from the Philippines: You can schedule your CFO appointment in Manila with or without visa yet. I just scheduled mine this Sept. 25 and they gave me a confirmation letter via email even if I did input that I don't have K1 visa yet in my passport. they will give you a list of requirements to be secured.

Filipinas are the most beautiful and exotic women in the world. Caring is their culture. OK, I may be a little biased!!! LOL
Definitely agree with you.

Hi everyone.... I'm from Manila and my fiance is from Jupiter, Florida. A bit old thread, but it's lovely to see fellow Filipina/Filipinos sharing the same sentiments.

Processing a Visa through the PHILIPPINES? Please READ.
I see your processing through the Philippines. Hank (from the Philippine Sub-Forum) has a website that will walk you through step by step on the Philippines process. It's free to use. He lists every step, including documents and other pertinent information so that you avoid the "gotchas" that are presented while processing. Gotchas can cost you time and or money. He'll help you avoid those.

Also, join others who are taking their steps for their journey in the sub-forum for the Philippines. It's a group of those who have gone before you and those who are near where you are in your journey. Everyone is willing to help guide you and answer any questions. Many years of experience there from Veterans.
This is the link: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/
Also, get the Embassy letter for the Philippines so you can start preparing for "whats next" on your journey. Letter is here: https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf
Thank you. This is such a big help.

I'm the beneficiary. My fiance is from WA.
Hi @smilei I'm the Beneficiary as well. But, sometimes, my fiancè uses this as well for inquiry. I'm the one who made the account and use it most of the time. He's from FL. I'm glad to meet you here.😊 Hope we would receive our NOA2 soon.

Hi RedRina
Welcome to the group.
Everyone here has been anxiously waiting for NOA2.
As for me, I haven't started obtaining NBI and CENOMAR yet. I think it's quite early to obtain it soon.😄

Hi Guys. May filer here as well. Sent the package last May 19, 2017. NOA1 was May 24, 2017.
Beneficiary is from Manila, Philippines.
Glad that there's a forum like this for May filers, which really helps for those who don't have much knowledge about the K1 visa process.
The waiting game is really frustrating.

Thanks.
I'll take note of that and consider taking a vacation with her somewhere else then.
-
Thanks for that.
Proving strong ties? Like what/how?
Having a permanent job in her country, like working as a nurse in a government hospital for more than 7 years, would that help for a B2 visa application?
Actually, I'm the one who wanted her to visit here while waiting for the approval of K1 visa.

Hi....
My fiancee and I are discussing about her applying for US tourist visa from Philippines to see and meet each other for the 3rd time. It's her 1st time to apply for a US tourist visa if ever. We thought about doing that to spend some time together, like a week, while waiting for the approval of K1 visa application which was applied last May 24, 2017, so we could gather more proofs/evidences of an on-going genuine relationship. My question is, is it a good plan to do that while there is K1 visa application in the process? Would it have an effect on the approval of K1 visa?
Thanks and more power.
