So we got a case number! THE WRONG CONSULATE! USCIS didn’t make our change request we asked for in AUGUST! so more headaches ! 

yeah ours was there yesterday and he gave me the number today 

well hopefully. Luckily PARIS and LONDON are pretty close to each other in terms of Mail etc. But its been a hell of a morning. Consulate only communicate with Email as we are classified nonimmigrant visas and won't talk to us on the phone. I have emailed EVERYONE

sweet, yeah ive done the ds-160. Were in London so most is done online . I have all the documents needed already, tax scripts, income support form, passport photos , evidence, the barcode thing they make you print off etc. I know I can schedule a medical but was wondering if thats better to do after London get the file. In london we pay the visa fee online and schedule our own interview date I don't know about your country . But London is all online now which is pretty sweet.

Yeah they’re a-holes at USCIS. Unfortunately your file is gonna sit there in the corner for weeks before it even gets mailed out to NVC. 

you will get auto extended, I asked the exact same question as mine expires 03/22

Except a month late. Bastards. 

It’s like Christmas ! 

Finally we’re at NVC!!!! The lady was super nice, she said they received our case but no case number yet and to call back in a couple of days for a number but it can take up to two weeks. But she said normally it doesn’t.

I have not found an option to do this online so far, but I hope they will get back to me tomorrow. Smaller country/less applicants and different system, maybe.

I may have cried on the phone to NVC 

my fiancé is calling after his shift later to ask about the next steps and see if they have a number, will let you guys know if he gets one.

I feel your pain. 

FINALLY!!!!!!! Godddddd almighty but NVC finally received ours today! NOA2 11/21; NVC received 01/11. No case #  yet but i'm sure that'll happen shortly. Will check back tomorrow night if they assigned one yet.
 
But thank god it's away from the USCIS!!! 

Wow yours must have been in the same package as ours! NOA2 11/21 and NVC just got it today!!!
