I have an extension letter from Uscis for my I-751 pending (june 2021). Is it possible to get a stamp in the passport instead of using the letter for re-entry?

I did since august
Ok thank you!
And did you get a letter in the mail? It was just a letter saying they received my application but at the bottom it describes that the letter is in fact an extension on your EAD

How do I request an extension?
You got to apply 90 days before you EAD expires and use the USCIS form

May ask what did you do to get an EAD extension
I sure did , I got my extension letter , but I have since received my green card so it cancels the extension out

Awww ok got ya! So my renewal is just pending from march? That clears up a lot of confusing information haha thank you

Thank you for the info! Let’s hope they just approve the AOS interview instead of the EAD, saving more paperwork!

When did you submit the renewal that gave you the 180 extension
In March 2019 as my EAD expired aug 2019. Then they sent me the paper with a 180 days extension to take me to feb 2020

Hi, I don’t know where to post this so sorry if it’s in the wrong forum. I had my AOS interview , from arriving here on a k1. The interview took place 3 weeks ago. I already have a 180 day extension for my EAD which expires in feb 2020. Am I allowed to request a new valid EAD before February Incase I am still waiting for an outcome on my interview? If so when would be best to apply? I already submitted an inquiry into my AP application which hasn’t been assigned to an officer yet . So just wondering if anyone knows anything about it?

Hii all. I had my green card interview today and the officer didn't tell us his final decision? He said that our case is under review and we can expect final decision notice on the mail. Can you guys tell me how long does it take to get a notice in the mail ? Thank you
Same , I had my interview Aug 23 in Orlando. Status still says interview scheduled and that’s all I have , some people get approvals in the same day or night . I’ve been waiting 4 weeks since and nothing has happened .

Should I be worrying that it’s been nearly a month? And nothing ?

I would not worry
they do not need your husband when you have a joint house deed and all you provided
he already had the proof of marriage with the applications
and, as for husband being there, it was seen and acknowledged.
these type of questions were also on the interview for my husband's naturalization and when the paper came for the oath ceremony, they are on the reverse side to be answered in the court day of the oath
questions like "have you been arrested since interview?"
Have you joined a terrorist group?
your evidence sounds "good to go"
Thank you so much for the re-assurance

Sounds like it went fine to me. The questions from the I-485 being re-asked is not uncommon.
Hopefully you get a formal approval soon.
Thank you I’m just over here obviously over thinking lol

Sounds like an approval coming your way........The fact that your husband was not grilled is a positive thing......
Yeah he was dressed in his suit sat there waiting for me , poor guy , he didn’t know what was happening! It was just so quick

So today I had my AOS I485 marriage based interview . I took my documents along with my husband to the orlando office. He called my number , we stood up , he told my husband to stay seated as he didn’t need him! He then asked me to swear oath . He then went thru questions like “am I a terrorist?” “Have I been divorced” etc for about 5-7 mins, he took my fingerprints , checked my k1 visa passport for the entry stamp, I gave him some photos and our house deed , bank statement and the insurance we have , he said I’ll make my decision very quick , he said check online but then went on to tell me about how to keep your card with you at all times etc, but I’m so confused is it a yes or a no. He asked zero marriage questions apart from am I still married to the same person. My poor husband took a whole day off to be there and was told to wait outside :-( I felt so bad

Hi, so I got a driving license and it expires when my EAD expires in August. I have a letter from the USCIS saying that I have an automatic 180 extension if still awaiting my interview for AOS. Does anyone know if the DMV would extend my license thru the 180 days with that letter?

Not sure where you saw that I said that?
Assuming you spoke to a Level 1 customer service agent, as they said you'll wait 15-30 days for some sort of response to your inquiry. They really can't tell you much more than that since they are regular service reps. In the interim, though, I would suggest you call back and request to be transferred to a Level 2 immigration officer (aka Tier 2) who can actually look into the personal details of your case and give you more insight on any additional waiting period (and more importantly to confirm you are in line for your FL appointment to be scheduled).
Thank you

It happens sometimes. No, it's not a reason for them to expedite your case now.
So I have to wait another 14 months for an admin error?!

So let me tell you ..... I relocated from CA to FL in June 2018 and changed my address In the June of 2018. I received my EAD and AP to my new Orlando address. I have now however received an AOS interview letter from my old address for May 2019 for California! Also the weird thing is it said my name in c/o my fathers name and i ain’t married to my father!!!! So I called the USCIS and after travelling thru 4,000 automated systems I pressed buttons to eventually connect with a human voice in the office. She just gave me a ref number and said wait 15-30 days for a response. My question is do I have to now wait at the bottom of the Florida pile to have my Interview or as it was an admin error will they actually expedite it! As I’ve been waiting 13 months!

It is valid for a year.
Wow, Does it take that long to schedule an interview in London?
No this is for my AOS In America. My interview for the k1 was done after 9 months

Hi, I have my interview scheduled now! Took 340 days! But is my medical still valid? I had my medical in feb 2018 and landed and moved here in March 2018. I applied for AOS in April 2018. So I’m just confused if it’s still valid. Any help would be great 🙂 much love and respect
