No, my fiance never got a packet either.  We just followed the direction on the net from NVC.  She did it all.  Personally, we don't know anyone recently who applied for K1 from the phils who got a packet in the mail.  They all just made appointments and such through the net.     

Got my CFO sticker and certificate, so I'm all set. Flight is on Aug 5 and we're so excited! Fiance is taking me to a metal show the next day woohoo!

I pressed tye number for immigrant visa then pressed 7 to speak to someone,  worked like a charm. 

Never mind, finally figured it out.  Tricky.

Hi everyone! Im not as active as a lot of VJ members here, but this forum has helped me a lot in preparing for paper work and interview.  thank you all. Today, i received my passport and visa packet. We also booked a flight in three weeks. ❤️ Finally, we can be together.

US Embassy in PH moves fast compared to other countries. You guys will be together soon.. with date changes, it means they are looking into it 😊 Good luck!! 😊

I am back after about 3 weeks away from visajourney.
 
Time for a quick update:
We had our interview at US Embassy Manila on June 27.  The interview was short and very straight forward.  The officer asked about wedding plans, family, and how we met.  
 
The officer said that my fiancees application was approved but more information was needed for our son.  We went upstairs for citizen services ti schedule an interview to determine citizenship.  We had not done the CRBA, we thought we could get them here and get his citizenship from here.  We thought wrong.
 
The next available interview was 10 days later.  Again it was straight forward.  We had to provide both of our passports showing that we were in the same place at the time of conception, medical records during pregnancy, and photos of my fiance pregnant. 
 
During my fiancees medical exam the doctor asked of she had really had a baby because she is tiny and has no stretch marks.  I think they must have noted that in the medical report as well.
 
After we got that resolved we took the passports back downstairs so the k1 process could continue.
 
Unfortunately i returned to the US without my family.  We are now waiting for visas to be issued.  Currently in AP but the case was updated yesterday so ee are hoping the visa will be issued soon.

the WAC is the receipt number, the number from NVC is your case number.

I think it may take up to 7 business days for them to issue the visa after they've received the missing requirements. Let's hope they issue your visa this week, though!

Just checked my passport status and it says IN TRANSIT now. Just 2 business days since it was ISSUED. I expect to receive my visa before the week ends as I need it for my CFO seminar on the 25th.

My interview was yesterday July 17, I checked ceac its now ISSUED OmG!! That was so fast! 😍

Yay~~congrats.   We got movement, I honestly expect ours will be issued soon.

I think it is another one of those things that are embassy specific  (I know it is required for the embassy in Algeria....along with the receipt from the DS 160...but again, that's algeria)
Me, personally, would take absolutely everything . ...just in case they needed something at the interview.
