Already been almost 3 weeks, doesn't look good for those of us who are just waiting for an inteview date.

Aight, well I finally got through the USCIS phone lines and spoke to the officer.. Who told me I could come by right now and bring the selective service stuff. After a 20 min drive to Manhattan and another 20minutes of looking for a parking spot, and 30 minutes of waiting in line to get into the building, I handed him the stuff and it looks like it's done now. The wait for oath date begins again.

Hehe, I was wondering who could possibly call me at 7AM. Sure enough it's our dear friend, USCIS

Well, just checked my voicemail and there's a message from my IO from friday that he forgot to ask me about my selective service and I need to call him back.. I had the card with me at interview, but he didn't ask for it. I guess this will take a little longer then. Oh well, no big deal.

Still no signs of oath letter here..

So, I was approved last thursday and my USCIS status is still "interview". How long will it take to change to Oath?

Passed the interview at Federal plaza in NYC. It was hilarious, because after reading about all the people having problems with speeding tickets, I brought all the receipts, my driving abstract, everything you could possibly bring to the interview. When I mentioned it to the interviewer and stared pulling all those documents from my bag, the (very nice) interviewer said "Dont fix what ain't broken. I'll ask you if I need anything.", and approved me without even looking at those. Awesome!

Didn't get the oath letter same day though, as by the time I was interviewed, it was already like 4pm I was in a waiting room with at least 500 people.

@jk0926 ..... your status is likely to change a few days before your anniversary date. From what I see (though somebody else claimed otherwise), you are not likely to be interviewed before your 5yr eligibility date. And yes, it is normal. I had my fingerprints on Jan 25, took them almost two months to get status updated. Some ppl in this thread (who got in line for interview scheduling) waited for more than 2 months.

I apologize. I guess this citizenship process has me on the edge. And I never understood people who have the "POST FIRST, READ LATER" approach to life

I had a finger prints on 13 feb , still i didn't got interview schedule. i applied N400 in 90 days window , my fifth anniversary will be on April 13, i won't get interview till that 5 years of period complete ? please let me know what action should i take on this or this is normal ?
