"Your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION is now scheduled for interview."

Ree, did you get a notice about getting "placed in line for interview scheduling" prior to interview scheduled?

Looks like a pattern, huh? All three of us who already received "placed in line for interview scheduling" emails have been PR for more than 5 years

I'm applying on a 5 year basis, had my fingerprints taken on Jan 18, and no "in line" for me.

That said, it's true that I applied as soon as I could so I haven't technically been a PR for 5 years. We'll see.

I don't know if I should admit this or not, but I just checked online and I have the same message as Pandawars. Looks like I'm in line for interview scheduling (please don't hurt me, notscenenough).

Agrhhhhhh. I'm not happy. Should have stayed in LA until the immigration issues are over with. NYC office sucks.

So, I'm going to be sitting around in this thread for another 5+ months, while you ride into the Santa Monica sunset with your blue passport in hand. Unfair.

Gotta say guys, this last bit of the journey makes me more anxious than anything before that. Just because it's the last push, I really really really want it to end soon. But since I'm filing from NYC, I'm probably looking at 6+ more months. Bummer.

According to the USCIS website, my biometrics letter was sent on Monday, January 23rd!! WOO HOO!! For those of you who did early biometrics, is it easy enough as just showing up any day with the required documentation?

Well, I walked up to the lady checking the paperwork, and was like "Hello, is it cool if I do biometrics earlier than my appointment day?" and she was like, "Yeah, come on in". So I mean, I'd definitely ask if its ok, but it's generally ok with them.

Nice! Someone's being optimistic! Trust me, we would be the first to know when the first person gets an interview scheduled! We'll prolly hear the screams! Wait... that would be me screaming!

I wasnt talking about the interview being scheduled, I was talking about being placed in line for interview scheduling.. This happens after a few weeks or sometimes even days after biometrics.
