I'm sorry you are going through this.  I hope everything works out.  Never lose hope, but maybe have a plan B in case.  There is still a chance you might get it.  Many people from Egypt are approved.  I think most probably are.  I don't believe they enjoy denying people.  Best wishes and love...

We need help, encougement,  advice.  My fiance had k1 visa interview at embassy in Cairo Egypt on August 15, 2017. Everything is good, nothing out of ordinary except he lived in Kuwait almost 20 years ago. Received confirmation from embassy that everything was good. Nothing needed. However,  my fiance and I are still not together.  It is holidays and going over 1 year since we started process. I want to cry. Having panic attacks.  My fiance had been staying with family because we believed this process would be short lived. Now his living situation is becoming complicated and getting old. I am worried for him. Does anyone know if I could file a waiver on his behalf? What to do? Someone to call? This is awful how governments not let us where we stand for so long. Our hearts are sad.

Unfortunately, there is no wavier for Administrative Processing, and there is no maximum length of time it can take.  This process tests our strength, endurance, and patience...Hopefully, you two will be together very soon....Good Luck.

He needed to have the interview booked before the NOA2 expired.  The embassy will automatically extend the validity if an interview is booked.  After that it doesn't matter when it expires. 

Right. Thank you again.  Also, we already completed the DS160 and paid the $265.00 fee while also registering with the CGI to set up a profile -  we got ahead of ourselves in the process. I hope this does not affect anything negatively.  After that, I realized how important it was to create the timeline.  Now that I have completed timeline, things are much clearer and I will help stay on track.
