Day 189.. Reached tier 2 yesterday and she said she couldn't tell us anything about our case. She then hung up on us. This really sucks, I hoped to at least hear something before Thanksgiving. And seems like they're not even touching May 16th anymore.

I am may 15 also, But was un able to open case inquiry...I am un aware of any special access lawyers have..  The rules for what is and is not "within normal processing times" should apply to everyone regardless of having a lawyer or not... THIS PROVES that all cases are not being treated equally... I have watched some guys here defend uscis workers as tho they are beyond reproach...but frankly ive had enough...There is NO VALID REASON that may 30 should have so many approvals when there are so many  may 6 and may 15 still untouched... I am so sick of OVERPAID FEDERAL UNIONIZED WORKERS.
dont get me wrong im happy for everyone who gets approved and or processed...But im so sick of government agencies  that  claim more in pay and benefits than the value of the work they produce....
IT IS UNACCEPTABLE that one may15th case is able to file an inquiry when others of the same date are not.....The next person who defends uscis workers should have his or her head examined for having shat for brains....

Long weekend coming up for sure. I am running out of things to do to keep myself busy. Seeing all approvals around me behind me is stressful. Hoping that today will be my day is one thing, My May 15th petition may be approved and not know it and its in the mail and coming but I have my doubts. I have lost my faith they will get to mine soon. Going into each day thinking this will be my day and what a let down at the end of the day. I have been through a lot of stressful things in my life and this is the worst. Only knowing that there is a good result coming at some point is the only  good point. A relationship that survives this process has got to be a good one, weather this storm and we can conquer anything. I never will understand how the process has worked, is working, or will work. My guess no matter what they do it isn't going to work. Maybe by skipping a bunch of files and moving on makes them look like they are making progress on paper to the higher ups. Pull all the easy files to boost the numbers then go back and pick out the moderate ones then finally the harder ones and let the hardest ones sit and hope they go away. I don't know, a lot of black helicopters flying around now. Just hope they find my file soon and process it. I know they had to have touched it, it was right in between the two files they approved last week. They had to touch it to move it out of the way right?

This week sucks. A case before me and a case after me both got approved this week. 331365 and 331367 got approved today. Why have i been skipped?😭😭😭😭

Wow I'm so sorry you're going through this too, but it does make me feel better that I'm not the only one. My family and friends thought I was crazy for turning down that offer, and I guess they were right lol. All I can really do is remind myself that a few extra months isn't going to matter much in the long run and to stop worrying about past choices that can't be changed. Everyone has things in life that they wish they could have done differently if given a second chance. I've been trying to focus my energy on using this free time improve my skills to find a good job there and exercising a lot.  

I couldn't understand you better. I also turned down two offers here in my town thinking that I'd be in the states in the end of September. We filed in late april, I got an offer in like June, but I thought medical exams and maybe interview would be close, so I'd have to miss work already.. and then leave soon. What a joke lol
I feel exactly the same, real silly for considering the ideal scenario only. And now I'm still like that, we have a relationship since 2014, and there's nothing that could go wrong with my visa, but we don't know for sure.. we know nothing for sure. And I'm here, just graduated too, not looking for jobs here, life is on hold, don't know how it's gonna be til I have my work permit... yeah, makes me scared sometimes!

They're in control of USCIS, they just hide themselves well.
