Hello everybody, I am looking for a bit of advice. Our K1 packet was approved and sent onward from NVC on 23 may to the Bangkok embassy. It still has not arrived.
I have called nvc on several occasions over the past 3 weeks. Each individual says this is an unusually long time period for shipment and refers the question to his/her supervisor with a promise they will investigate and be in touch. Nothing happens afterward however. Any advice on who else I should contact? The embassy will not accept a call and refers me to a e mail address which replies with a canned response straight from the CEAC case tracker. Me and Ladda are going a bit nuts now, any help would be greatly appreciated...

Just to let everyone know, my NOA2 was completed May 5, and has shipped to the embassy from NVC yesterday, May 23. Hope this is useful information for anyone who has a case in NVC. Good luck everybody!

Ok, so here it is. The "California Service Center" or the "Pyramid". This is where it's all happening.
However cross I am with them right now, I gotta admit they have a cool building.

I have my own theory about what happened yesterday, and seeing the lack of activity for December and January, along with the fact my phone app kept getting notifications for travel alerts, form updates and visa bulletins, but nothing more productive than that, I came to think it might be related with the fact it was first day of the month.
Yeah, well... too many free time to come up with theories Good luck, January fillers. These next two weeks HAVE TO be your time.
As a long time federal employee, I can tell you the most probable cause is a mandatory training day. These happen periodically through the fiscal year and can be any topic from new procedures to fun stuff like Internet Security or SHARP (sexual assault prevention).
