I've worked part-time job concurrently with full-time jobs in the last five years. I can not remember exact dates of employment for each employer. I can pin point the month and years using my resume. Is date accuracy important in the process?

It's frustrating I know, but just try to be as accurate as possible. I havent heard of someone being asked or denied a visa because they put down the wrong date or month of said employment from 3 years ago. Using your resume would be your best option for keeping everything as accurate as possible. My husband and I used his resume when it was time... The difficulty came trying to remember all of his primary and secondary schools he attended            (he moved alot and he's in his mid 30's )... Take a breath and don't worry your on the right track!!!!

Well guys, a huge thank you to everyone for everything. My wife and stepkids attended the interview this morning and were approved pending the results of the medical (which is being sent out today)! Thank everyone for their support, knowledge, and kindness through this process.

Congratulations, I'm soooo happy for you. This was well deserved, I remember reading about some of your concerns for your family, now you and your family can be at peace FINALLY

Hello I am trying to gather all my documents for the i-864 but came across the issue of IRS Tax Transcripts.

I tried logging in to the IRS Website to obtain the transcripts online but had an issue (got an error message) obtaining them because it seems that the IRS does not have my IRS Tax Transcript for this year because I recently filed my taxes three weeks ago.

I do have my last 3 years of W-2’s and 2015/2016/2017 tax returns so will those be sufficient along with my most recent pay stubs?

I am not sure if that is okay because I am not sure that if I request for the transcripts via mail that it would take longer for me to send the i-864 since I want to process this asap.

    Your responses are greatly appreciated!

    • You need to submit taxes and W2’s if you are not using an IRS printout that demonstrates your income.......this was copied off the NVC website so looks like your covered.

I've waited so long to finally get into the VJ estimated date range, and now I've passed the estimated date range. :-(

Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between January 23, 2018 and February 8, 2018*.

Try not to worry yourself too much. The trend for us Nebraska filers seems to be around 9 months for approval and a year or longer for those who have filed a K-3. Your approval is coming soon!!! My VJ estimate date range kept changing, I thought I would never make it. Stay positive, it's on the way :)

How does NVC already have your email addresses?  I thought we couldn't provide that to them  until we have our case number.

I can't answer that, seems they must of gotten it from the application, I've called them exactly 3 times and at no time was I asked for my email nor did I give it to them over the phone. I just recall the last woman I talked to saying she would talk to her supervisor to check and see what was taking so long for me to get a case number, I assumed she was trying to give me some kind of relief.

I got my approval letter and even though the letter states sent to DOS it hasn't they are holding it I called and talked to someone on friday and was told it could be 90 days before they send my case and I asked why the letter said it was sent when it wasn't, and why others got approvals and are sent to DOS right away what is the reason, she kept repeating the same thing,

I am going to call again after two weeks from the approval date on me letter maybe by then they will release the hold on my package. :(

    Yes, I pray so..best wishes!!

be thankful that they at least sent it to DOS mine was approved on 1/17 and it still sits at USCIS in hellbraska.

Believe me, I am!!.. Sorry to hear that so has USCIS shed any light as to why they are holding your case hostage?? Have you received your approval letter in the mail yet with approval date?? Im asking because on the letter it clearly says, "we've sent your case to the department of state."
