After the interview if status changes to administrative processing what does this mean? For those of you who have collected you visa how long until this changes to issued? Due to collect in few days and I am worried status has not changed to issued yet.

dream4200 , i have a question do you have letter from employer ?
Sorry for delayed response Yes. In my instructions that the embassy sent, they required that you have a letter from the employer that was sent within 30 days of interview. Mine was dated July 27 (21 before ). Basically all it needs to say is that the organization continues to offer you the job, and to contact them if any questions.
This is all my actual letter included.

Re: Lastname, Firstname
Dear Consular Officer:
I confirm that "name of organization" continues to offer "Firstname Lastname" the position of _______________ in accordance with the terms and conditions stated in the approved I-140 petition. She will be employed at our facility located at _________________
If you need any other information, please do not hesitate to contact my office.
Sincerely,
"Name of boss"
Director of Human Resources
Also it had the organization logo at the top, and it was signed. I did not have the actual document but the scan that was emailed to me of it. That is all I printed and took for that

Ok EB applicants I know information on our process is not as easily available as there are not many filers in our category on here.
Unfortunately based on my experience there is little much I can add because I was at the "interview" portion of the entire process for less than 2 minutes.
Standard porcedure:
Went through outside security, then presented my passport and interview letter (P4).
After this, we went through airport style security and then were directed to the waiting room, which also is the interview room. There are Windows that you go to, but it is all in the same place and other people waiting can hear your side of the conversation, but they can't hear the CO because you use telephones to talk through the glass (kinda like the prison visitations that you see in the movies. So it would have been kind of uncomfortable to get a rejection in the presence of everyone...anyways back to the subject at hand ).
You hand in you civil documents to the staff at the first window, and they will sort and arrange what they want. Then I sat back down and waitied to be called to the "interview window" (the wait was approximately 45 min).
I got called to the window and the CO said good morning.
Actual interview:
CO asked me to do the biometric finger prints and then to raise right hand and take the oath.
After this the CO asked the following questions:
1. How did you find out about this job? Answered.
2. Where in the states were you previously working? Answered.
3. Do you have a copy of your degrees and practice licenses? I started to flip through my folder to get them but he looked at the NVC packet he had, and decided I did not need to produce them.
3. He looked at all the police clearances and laughed and then asked "Is there anywhere else you plan to live? I smiled and said "No sir, just the states for now".
4. He looked up and said "Everything looks like it is in order. Come back next week and collect your passport and immigration packet". And I was free to go on my merry way.
I was honestly taken aback by how short this was. I was in and out in about an hour and a half. The actual interview was less than 2 min.
Notes for EB filers: even though your credentials are screened through agencies like NBME or CGFNS, It might be a good idea to bring copies of degrees, certificatons, and/or practice licenses just in case.
I guess there was not much to ask because all the supporting documents were already sent to NVC, and the visa screen pretty much verified everything.
Additional info:
CEAC website just said "AT NVC" from scan date to CC. It changed to "IN TRANSIT" after P4 reciept, then to "READY" when embassy received it.
After this, embassy contacted me via email with embassy specific instructions, and to bring an additional police clearance.
Sorry I don't have new info. (pretty much all this has already been said on this forum). Also I only got asked the three questions.

so, instead to press "administratie processing" they press Refused, and believe me....i had one of the worst day of my life....also because i called someone at the Visa center (in Trinidad) and tell me that sometime, after approve a case , they change idea and they refuse it. My lawyer was livid and tell me to do not worry, but still, i spent the worst week of my life...really one of the worst!!!!
Yeeesh. Sorry you had such a bad experience. Congratulations on completing this process. Best of luck in your new life.

Heloo i wait for same type EB3 visa, so if i had some update i share here no problem i appreciate if you do the same, fingers cross for interview date soon for everyone who wait so long .
Hi, thank you for updating. I am glad more of us are doing this now. I usually update my information here, as well as on the @JBMG spreadsheet. I hope you get your interview soon. Best of luck. I will most likely write an in depth review with details specific to EB-3 case in a new forum once I have completed the whole process so that those starting their journey will have a better understanding from start to finish, and how long it will take.

Does anybody know if EB-3 has a longer wait time for interview scheduling compared to IR-1/CR-1 please? My PD is current. I know nothing will happen today with it being July 4th but just a general question. Thanks!
I was wondering the same thing. I got my CC on the 7th of June. I did not get a July interview. I was scheduled for August so I think the timing is about average with the spouse visas. I guess we will not know for sure because there are so few EB-3 filers who contribute anywhere on this website.

Not sure if it's the easiest way but this is how I do it..
I'll start on an earliest post i want to reply to.. Then will 'quote' the reply, write my response.. Then will 'cut' all my text: using the keyboard, will select ALL by doing ctrl A (PC) / cmd A (Mac).. then cutting it by clicking ctrl X (PC) / cmd X (Mac).. Then go to the next page, scroll to the bottom, paste the text.. ctrl V (PC) / cmd V (Mac) .. then place cursor under the pasted text, then repeat..
you're welcome!! Thank you thank you!!
I will use this method. So much better than having a million little posts. Thanks!

It would of have been better if it was earlier.
Congratulations!!!!
To answer my previous question: Email confirmation of interview arrived 24hrs after phone confirmation.
(Is there a way to quote from several pages at once so that I don't have to do multiple posts. I would prefer to have one long post to multiple people from different pages on this forum? Cant seem to figure this out.)
So many interview dates!!!! Hopefully I haven't missed congratulating someone!!!! The next couple of weeks is going to get real exciting on here.

it might be my internet connection...
If you were calling in the past two hours I think not. I had to call three times. The first I got through after 11 min (shocking!) but it dropped as I was giving my details. I thought it was my phone so I called using a different device and waited 30+ minutes and it dropped again just as I go through. The third time 30+ minutes again and it went through. I think the issue is on their side if other people are having connection issues too.

The last two times I called (last week, and the week before that) asking if I have been scheduled for an interview I was told no, to wait, and that I will be notified when it has been scheduled.
QUESTIONS:
1. Is this the same response people are getting?
2 If it is, are we still calling to ask? Even If we are being told to just wait until we hear from them? (I just want to make sure that is what everyone else is doing, and I am not being particularly "difficult" for them.)
3. For those of you who called and got an interview date confirmation, how long after the phone confirmation did the email confirmation come? (I know for the CCs it is about 1 week from phone confirmation to email confirmation. Is this the same for interview schedule?)
Thanks

This is a great post and thank you for sharing. In a way I totally feel you when you say not a lot of cases are getting processed through your embassy compared to others. About 98% of people going through the Moscow embassy are K-1 visa filers and most of the information dedicated on the country portal is geared towards that visa. The most recent spousal visa filer was DCF. Basically from the time it took her to go from USCIS to interview I was still stuck in Nebraska!!!! All other IR-1/CR-1 filers I could find were from 2-3 years ago...go figure. I just can't win! Lol.
It's all good though.
I have everyone else here to share my time with, so that makes it totally worth it.
Oh my goodness that is a long time to be stuck in processing. You are so right, waiting in a group is so much nicer. This website is everything when progress seems to crawl at a snail pace. Hopefully you get an interview soon too.
