Just wanted to update that I got an email notification from the NVC with my case number today! Just check the CEAC site and it's currently in transit
The only thing I wanted to ask is that I also got another email that the German Embassy (fiance is British but he has been living in Germany for the past 3 years) approved a request for expedited processing. I'm not complaining but is this part of the usual process? I didn't request any expedite so curious where this came from!

Oh I am so very very happy for you!
Your post made my day as I just let a little bit of the blues this afternoon. Being the stalker that I am I looked at the USCIS app and found that the number just above mine got approved and then looked at others and saw that lots of numbers above mine got approved. Sigh...
My day will come, but lol, I feel like the last kid picked for a team.
Still, I love my fiancé and I will keep waiting for him with hope and patience..
I can 1000% relate to how you feel. I had been updating my tracker every hour or so in hopes that the magical "Your case has been approved" will show up. But if it helps at all, my case still shows as "Received" on the tracker even after this letter! My NOA2 date is also 8/28, which means it look 4 whole days for the mail to arrive... and I live in Los Angeles, literally 1 hour drive from Laguna Niguel!
Who knows, there's a good chance your case is already approved too and might be just stuck in snail mail on the way south!
Hang in there!!!

I'm really wishing, praying, doing a happy dance so that these approvals start flowing for everyone soon!!

Hi everyone! After a LOOONG 144 day wait with zero updates, this is what showed up on my informed delivery today! I'm trying not to get too excited until I see the contents to be sure, but I am so so happy that there is a letter!
Just in case this happens to be an approval (I am still trying not to get my hopes up - though it's really difficult), my case tracker still shows received April 10th with no further updates. A Tier 2 officer last week told me that my case wasn't even assigned to an adjudicator exactly 1 week ago too, though he wasn't too nice so I'm not sure if he was telling the truth or just trying to get me off the phone.
I just wanted to mention this in case anyone else is like me getting depressed that there are no updates on the tracker on their case even though it might be working for some. Just keep checking and there might be a letter after all!
P.S. Interesting note - the postage mark on the top right actually says ZIP 05495, which is Vermont and not California.. I don't know how these postage stamps work and it doesn't actually match up to the Vermont Service Center zip code but thought it was interesting nonetheless.

Okay,... so I just sent my senator a letter which I will follow us tomorrow with a call to their office and a call to USCIS.
Again, despite the maddening waiting game, my fiancé and I are so thrilled to hear all of your approvals go through. We are so happy for all of you. And selfishly speaking, your approvals mean we get closer and closer to hearing something about our approval soon!
I remember when I'd wait for weeks to months for that next trip between is-- either him flying here or me flying to Machester. The weekly countdown was always one of joyful anticipation.
Imagine... his next ticket here is a one way ticket! (Two way because it's cheaper, lol).
So, with all the prior trips we had wait periods of sometimes MONTHS. The longest we'd ever been separated was 5 months and that was terrible. So, when I put this daily waiting in perspective I really have to remember, the next trip here will be his final one.
How much better can life be??
We have the same NOA1 date and my fiance is also from England (a Northerner too)! AND you're also in southern California! I feel like you're my (almost) visa twin!
I'm on the same boat just waiting for the approval and the day we can book the one-way ticket... Wishing the best for all of us so have our finaces close to us sooon!

Haven't been with my Fiance in about 6 months.
Oh wow. I don't know how you manage this - so much respect for your patience! I was fortunate enough to see him 2 months ago and I'm already antsy. Fortunately, I have a 4-day trip to London for a friend's wedding next week that I get to see him again but I think I would have lost my mind if I had gone 6 months!

And honestly, it seems like the job of answering phone calls from people wondering why their visa isn't done probably is one of the most painful jobs around. Can you imagine every day getting angry people with complaints? I mean, how many people call to thank them for doing it quickly?
Completely agreed that this isn't a fun or glamorous job.. But I personally feel like active updates on the cases would solve at least half the calls. All I want from a Tier 2 rep is an update - has our case been assigned? Is someone looking at our case? Is it still on background check and for whatever reason that's take a long time?
Only if we had updates about when a case a passes a pre-screen, gets an adjudicator assigned, passes a background check, etc., I know a visual progress would give me some assurance that it's being worked on. The absolute silence for 4+ months is what's killing me, not knowing if anyone has even touched our case.

Nothing in informed delivery yesterday and nothing in informed delivery today. No updates on the tracker whatsoever. I also noticed on the apps that it seems to be that they update other petitions about a decision or approval, but not the I-129F for some reason. Frustrated beyond belief at this point to say the least. No longer holding onto the hope that "It must be on it's way in the mail." At this point I'm preparing for the worst and for the need to contact the ombudsman. Yesterday I sent in a letter to my senator asking for a congressional inquiry on my behalf and will be calling on the 31st to speak to Tier 2. Also currently looking into how to immigrate to Indonesia based on marriage. At this point I'm not even preparing for the worst and hoping for the best, just preparing for the worst.
Received: April 10
NOA1: April 13
150 Days: Sept 7 (Based on NOA1)
I have the same dates as you and I feel the same! The tier 2 officer that I reached just told me that I'm in normal processing time repeatedly and would not give me any updates. Informed delivery is great but checking it actually ruins my day because I don't see anything in the mail.
The only thing that been keeping me from going crazy is how busy work has been but I'm getting to the point where I would really love to have my fiance here to help me cope with the work stress. I think I'm honestly beyond depressed at this point for lack of progress
I guess my next step is to write a letter to my senator but I wonder if I should save that for later "just in case".

Hi all,
With few people with the same timeline as ours (April 10th received/April 13th notice), I thought it would be a good idea to give USCIS a call. I went through the option of not choosing any options (so it would assume a rotary from) and got an agent right away. She confirmed my identity, basic info and the same spiel about processing Feb 1st cases. I asked if I can talk to an Tier 2 officer to specifically look into my case and she actually mentioned that she has the same info access as them.
After asking to look into our case the agent informed me that we don't even have an officer assigned to our case
This was really disheartening as I'm on day 137 atm. She gave me the estimate of 30-45 days once an officer is assigned..
I'm trying to convince myself that either the info the agent gave was either inaccurate.. Given that I'm really struggling with the wait already, I just don't know what to do anymore

Hello everyone,
I am a long-time lurker (I think I've posted once when the April forum first started). I have a NOA1 received date of April 10th and notice date of April 13th and I can't stop being anxious about getting our NOA2. Every time I see someone with a similar timeline or a timeline after mine getting approved, there is a sense of excitement that ours might be coming but also a sense of jealously about why we don't have ours yet especially that I live in California and mail shouldn't take that long!
Work has been super stressful (and I'm still at work at 9:30pm!) wishing that my finace would be here with me..
I guess this is just another rant. Congratulations for everyone that have already received their NOA2 and I honestly cannot wait for ours!!!!!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to say hi and join in since I'm an April filer too! I have sent in the package last Wednesday, April 5th to be delivered by the following Monday, April 11th via UPS. Today I just got a text and email that the case was received 😆
It's only been a month since I left my boyfriend/fiancé in Germany but I am already dreading the wait. I am not a patient person and can't wait to have back with me soon enough. I'm really hoping time passes by quickly enough for all of us!
Out of curiosity, when are you guys aiming for the wedding? With the wait being unknown, we're just thinking of going to the court house to call it a day (personally I don't care too much about a wedding) but wondering what you all are planning on since we're all on the same boat. Since my fiancé wants a wedding maybe I will at least entertain the idea 😜
