Hellooooooooooo to my dear March Whiners - from Virginia!

So now I finally came back and found our thread closed! We made the server kneel - heck yeah, that rocks!

Sooooo I noticed I got searched - here I am!

I had to manage the clearing of my place and had sold my iMac beginning September, so I wasn't really online anymore, since I hate doing stuff like this here on the iPhone.

Long story short - I made it!

The goodbyes at home were harder than expected, many tears with my (former) coworkers, my mom and my closest friends. I"ve spent my last nights in Germany in my favorite city on this planet - beloved Hamburg - and flew out from there. My POE was last Friday at Boston Logan Airport.

The Immigration in Boston was a little awkward. Seems like the IO are all more grumpy the later it gets. I had to wait long at the Immi, then got escorted to the obligatory Secondary and sat there waiting again for a felt eternity. It was just weird. I wasn't nervous, but it just felt awkward to sit and wait so long (felt long at least).
But in the end it turned out good, and after about an hour I could collect my luggage and leave with my passport.

It kind of irritated me that the officer just doodled with a ball pen on this sticker we all have worked and waited for sooooo long and now it's useless

Yeah, well! As you can tell:
Scott has really came to Richmond/VA to pick me up, haha! The iron rake from Germany has arrived and is very happy to be united with my perfect match. 
Daily routine has already caught up. He had to work again on Monday already, works 15pm to 1am, so I'm home with the cats and trying to make a home out of this bachelors household.
To be honest - I haven't left the house without him yet. Everything is so far away; no walking distances, and I don't have a car yet. But that's fine for now. The crazy man got me a very new and shiny MacBook for my birthday, so I'm back online trying to catch up!

For the "formal" part: We'll go for my SSN tomorrow, he added me to his cell phone plan today, so I got my US simcard. His leave got confirmed for the last week of October/first week of November, so we will probably head out to his family in Utah in the middle of that time and make a road trip to Vegas to get married!

And last but not least:
Not a crazy POE pic, but a selfie right after we hugged hello! I'll keep this pic forever, because it's not only a selfie - it's the arrival after the biggest journey of my life so far! <3

To all on here that still know me, to those who don't: Good luck for all of you, congratulations to all approvals and progresses! It's so great to have the back of this community - and of course especially the Anonymous March Whiners, which I'm a proud part of!

To give some hope to any other January filers still waiting for NOA2...we finally received our NOA2 today after 153 days of waiting! We honestly thought it would never come at this point. We are estatic! 
 
Good luck to all those still waiting. It is so hard to see others moving along this process while you feel left behind but do not lose hope, your time will come and it will feel so amazing  

I got approved in mailbox. on website still say " Case was recieved". No email.

My visa got approved today! Spent just an hour and a half at the embassy. Interview went smoothly. Officers were very friendly. Good vibes everywhere. My advice - keep your cool, speak clearly and answer assertively. Wear a positive attitude and smile! 
 
Thanks to all of you and this forum. It has been a great help. Sticking around for sure. We all have a long way to go in this journey. Goodluck everyone! Stay strong and be patient.. it will eventually happen.

Yesterday my fiancé received the letter from USCIS. They accepted our petition on May 25, the website still says 'Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received'.
RFE was about meeting in person within 2 years. We sent them passport stamps, boarding passes, receipts from hotels and statements (his, mine and from family and friends). We did not attach any photo of us together.
 
Thank you all for your posts and support, it makes the waiting game easier

We called May 25th and they said not approved but my fiancé texted me 20 messages and called me, I just woke up and saw this .. I can't believe this just happened. 
 
 
Officially approved May 22nd. We got the mail in the letter on Saturday like you @HazeyHaze and I AM SO SO HAPPY!! 
 
 
 

Just want to let everyone know, especially those who got an RFE and are still waiting, that my fiance just got our NOA2 in the mail today! We are over the moon!!! 
 
We waited so damn long (120+ days) but we finally got our approval! This was so unexpected because it's already Saturday in the US and I have lost hope that we would get news this week, but once again, life surprised us.
 
To those still waiting, keep extending your patience and one of these days, your NOA2 letter will surprise you, too. 
 
Those who got RFE'd, if it has been 2 weeks since USCIS received your response then there's a good chance you'll get your approval soon. Hang in there! 
 
This weekend just became amazing.
 
Note: I don't know our official NOA2 date yet as I'm still waiting for my fiance's response. I just saw that I got a message from him saying he got the letter. Will update my timeline and signature once he replies. 

I just checked my mail today just out of habit and i got a notice of action letter saying they approved of my visa petition!!!

I received out NOA2 in the mail today, dated May 18, 2017. Our NOA1 was Feb 15th: 92 days.

We got our NOA2 by mail on monday but day of notice is the 18th May. Our NOA1 was 15th february.

We got our approval!!

NOA1 02/09; NOA 2 05/18 (98 days).

No e-notification, USCIS website shows "received" with no touches.

Its been a very emotional last few weeks. I had just had a talk with myself over the weekend. The stress was starting to break me down. We were waiting for an update after sending USCIS our RFE a couple weeks ago, and despite having nothing in the mail or any updates online, my partner just received a call back and was informed that our case has been approved since May 19th and our NOA-2 is in the mail!
 
We wouldn't have even considered calling if you hadn't posted, so congratulations to you but more importantly thank you for sharing!
 
For others who have had bad experience calling, perhaps it's just bad luck...but the agent was super helpful, polite, and courteous! Stay positive, stay friendly, and keep trying! ❤

AFTER 124 DAYS OF WAITING... WE FINALLY GOT OUR NOA2 IN THE MAIL TODAY ! 🎉🎉
Our NOA1 is Jan 13th - NOA2 May 17th. We did not received the email nor text message. 
My fiancé called me a couple minutes ago screaming "We got approved!!!". 😀😀😀We are sooooooo happy and excited! This waiting game was  really testing our patience but today we can celebrate one more victory! 
 
This process has really been a journey! And I want to thank you all, I read this forum all the time and y'all have contributed to keep my mental health hehe. 
 
It is so exciting to think that in just a couple of months we all will be with the person we love the most, living happily ever after. God bless you all. 💑

Hey January filers. Finally we received our NOA2! The petition was mailed January 19, and NOA1 received January 27. This process is way too long and heart breaking for many. I wish everyone still waiting on that notice to move forward patience and good luck. To those with the green light I wish you smooth sailing.

I got my NOA2! Received date for NOA1 Feb 13, for NOA2 the notice date is May 17 but I received it today May 20.

I initially thought we were January filers since I mailed the petition on January 27. But then the NOA1 received date was February 1, so I switched to the February filers thread. I know there is some overlap between the January and February scans, so I decided to post this here as well as in the February thread.

The case tracker is still not working; it just says received. No e-mail notice either, even though I filed form G-1145. Our received date was Feb 1, and the NOA2 was dated May 16.

Yes it was before 9 pm Eastern. It wasn't an RFE, it says case was approved 

Oh noooooo 😓😓😓😓😓 our VJ estimated date was June 7-10th
