yes, we tried this , we just never got the code via phone to activate the account..., so we cannot log in into the account

Yes, @Marzena & Stephen we tried this in the morning for two hours, we filled in the USC info, passed the email confirmation page with the code that we got and after they say on the last page to fill in the use phone number and to fill back in the code sent. we didn't get the code none of the 3 times we tried, we tried the 'try again' option to resend the code, negative. not even now ,after 4 hours we didn't receive any code. I don't know if it is a problem from my fiance's phone or the irs.gov website ..... 

that's why I hope the w2 and 1040 is enough coz I cannot take this irs timing and procedure

I know it has been asked million times and I did as well a research on this website , I couldn't find anywhere a clear answer with bullet points "you need this , this and this" . Maybe the precise German @TearsOfBabylon , since she had recently her interview can clarify with both documents for affidavit and the question 38   Danke!

@Holly♡ this is what I am trying to find out . if they want the tax transcript too, or not . is enough the w2 and 1040,employer letter , bank letter , pay stubs? these tax transcript are not ease to get , at the 1800 number you just communicate with the robot , they don't confirm your address, nor the documents that you ask, you just type (after listening a zillion of messages) the years you want the transcripts for and after the call ends up automatically ; so basically we don't even know that those transcripts are actually coming to us anytime after 10 days

this is for US citizen, please i need your advice :

- we can get the petitioner's W2 and 1040 from his accountant printed straight away but for the tax transcript ,we called today the 1800 number and it is just a conversation with the robot . we asked for the 2013, 2014, 2015 tax transcript and the robot says we will get in in 5-10 working days.  

the thing is now that i think my case will be ready for the interview sooner so I don' t really want to wait all this time for the tax transcript . is there any other way to get this documents sooner? ( we tried as well to create an account on the www.irs.gov website but we cannot get through , we never receive the confirmation code to create an account on the phone number of the US citizen....so frustrating , we tried 3 times already)

any ideas...?

have just finished the ds-160 it took me soon long... you know why? because i used to be a cabin crew until last month and guess what I ve been over 48 times to the US and I have travelled soon many countries in the past 5 years anyways I haven't put down all these trips and countries visited but I got crazy adding at least 10 for each question just to be on the safe side...i am mentally tired!

So frustrating! This may end up ruining our travel plans. 

seriously... is their fault with their 2 penny system, they should fix this , not asking you to go back and forth ...anyways ,we still depend on government institutions, approvals, waiting time and so on . keep calm!!

wow there is so much going on in people's from this forum life. i am happy i could read about approvals and nvc case no ; i remember there was a time in July when the NOA2 stopped coming and the mood in here was so #######...anyways , time for positivity

when is it better to start completing the DS-160? currently my case shows AT NVC but we are waiting for my finance's tax transcripts which I don't know when we gonna get ; so this DS 160 at which moment has to be submitted ?when the case shows ready at the embassy? i know it can be different according to the country but as I read, for us , Romanians, we don't send/receive pack 3/4 so is just DS 160, medical and interview.

I guess I am overthinking about planning all this and i am trying to know way ahead everything that i am confusing myself....

on the NVC page I had to choose immigrant to check my case status ; someone was saying here for ds-160 we have to fill as non-immigrant, so eventually what type of case are we ?

Hi guys, 

We got our  NVC # today around 10 am EST, i called myself and after less then 10 min on hold a nice lady answered ( I pressed 1 and then 7 as the other day I ve been told as others mentioned - pressing 5 if for electronic cases only) . 

She asked my fiance name and date of birth and my name . For those of you who need this info : you can update beneficiary's or petitioner's address while on the phone when they give you the NVC number; this is how I updated this info today for us.

I am currently in the US and will fly to Romania probably in max 10 days for the interview- have no idea yet how busy is the embassy about scheduling it  and then back here 

Looking forward for the adventure to continue and thank you everybody for being such a nice and helpful group!!

In any case, give it a try at USCIS. You have time to fix it and sure it won't be that complicated

guys, i need your advice , maybe I missed the posts related to this topic:

In march , when we applied for the k1 , me-beneficiary- i put down my address in the UAE where i used to live at that time; now I no longer live over there , shall we inform NVC about the change of address of beneficiary ? we got the noa2 on the 8th of August, we don't have yet an NVC number. shall we call them now and inform about this address change , shall we call the Embassy in Romania?

From what I have noticed, and it seems to be a trend, is that when people feel like they have been waiting sooo long that they are "getting worried", those are the ones that it seems are getting NOA2's... because it ACTUALLY is taking longer since it comes via snail mail. I would try to not stress too much because it could just be that your NOA2 is on its way!

@KozmicBlues @Rev we have similar date for noa1 received and mail date ( for us 29 th March received, mailed 4th of April ). so , keeping all fingers crossed, next weeks is about us hopefully .
