Hi guys. I received my NOA1 for my AOS, EAD & AP today. The EAD & AP were addressed to me in my married name, but the AOS was addressed to me in my maiden name. I called USCIS, and the woman seemed a bit confused and put me on hold for a few minutes. She then told me to go to the social security office to legally change my name (I haven't done this yet), then contact them again.
Did this happen to anyone else? I'm just a bit confused, because the EAD & AP noa1 was in my married name.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I was able to get a unsecured credit card with Bank of America (the cash back one) with a limit of $900!
I first applied for a Capital One unsecured card since I “pre-qualified” for it, but I got rejected after I applied! Then I applied for the secured Capital One card and got rejected as well. (Weird!) So my husband and I decided to go into Bank of America today to talk about my options for building credit. The manager suggested applying for a unsecured credit card first, which I was luckily approved for!
Some things to consider:
my husband added me as an authorized user to two of his credit cards the moment we received my SSN, which was early September. Some say that this does not affect your credit score whatsoever, but when I checked my credit score on Transunion and Equifax, it was in the mid 700s.
Hope this helps some of you.

You should try emailing them again. I waited for the last updated date to change again, which was last Friday the 14th. I emailed them on Sunday the 16th, and received my packet 4 on the 17th. Hope you get your interview date soon!

The same thing happened to me yesterday. Have you had any luck with booking an appointment or receiving packet 4 yet?

Hi! Is the petitioner the one who got the email notification? Took about two weeks before they send an email? :((
Yup. It was the petitioner who got the email. Our NOA2 is June 15th, NVC received June 30th and today we got the email with the case number.

Thanks for the tip!! Which line (#) is this for?
Honestly, I don't remember exactly. However, they never asked and/or said anything different from the regular line that everyone waits for.

Oh great! You didn't have to call before?
Your NOA2 date is 8 days earlier than ours... so maybe we'll get it next week, too!
(In case they KIND OF work in incoming order.... O.o )I started calling NVC everyday since July 6, and everyone I talked to told me to wait anywhere from 3-6 weeks for them to process the visa. However, this morning my fiance woke up to an email from them with our case number.
Also, I just wanted to give you guys a tip with calling. One of the guys I spoke to told me that they upgraded their system, but not all of them are trained to use this new system. He told me to press #5 instead of #2, since the people on the #5 were all trained to use it. AND IT IS SO MUCH FASTER! I waited on the phone for 45 minutes to an hour when I pressed #2, and the longest I waited on the #5 option was 10 minutes. Hope this helps!

NVC seems to be very slow... or I'm just being super impatient! NOA2: June 15, NVC received: June 30. And still no case number!
