I just checked my i-130, But was not able to see that question, but they have asked for 'relative's address abroad' and there i filled in my current residential address

Hello all

I am yet to get I-130 approved. But I was just wondering, how NVC will assign consulate? will they assign based on Country of current residential address or country of citizenship/permanent address? I am asking this because my country of current residence is eligible for electronic processing and I've heard that EP makes a huge difference in duration of NVC process

10/31 filer here! We just got our NOA-2 in the mail! Apparently our I-130 was approved 04/01, it was transferred from Nebraska to Texas on 03/23. Didn't get any notification of any sorts...no e-mail, no text and the website still says our case was transferred.

U can know which case numbers are getting approved using USCIS mobile app. It shows the status of upto 100 case number  based on the input of your/ any random case number. 

I have seen 2 numbers just in front of and after mine getting approvals/RFE. mine is stuck in the middle without any movement

Our date was Oct 6th and they approved us exactly after 6 month on Apr 6th!

I have seen most of the transferred cases are getting approved in a month's time. U might consider calling them now. also U might have to check ur mail box as well since for transferred cases many people didn't receive any notification in email,website or apps.

It was at the Nebraska Service Center and in mid-February they transferred it to the Texas Service Center for faster processing and we have heard nothing. Where does the website says it is processing 4th sep? When i checked it is still showing august 9 for Nebraska

I just read on a Sept 2016 fliers board that Nebraska is approving cases from around Sept 20!! #fingerscrossed. Our case WS received 10/20 and has stayed in Nebraska the whole time as far as I know.

I think most of the approvals in september are for those who got transferred from NSC to other SCs. So less hope for those who are stuck in NSC like me

I just got off the phone with tier2 operator after requesting the callback from USCIS and she just causally told me that our petition is approved today and the notice is sent. I also managed to finally change our mailing address so the physical notice will be sent to our address back in the States.

If you want to get e-mail notification, make sure you're signed up on the USCIS website. Maybe that's why others aren't getting the info by e-mail?
