Hello all!! Update

We had our interview on 13th september and got approved. Glad that the long process is finally over  . Although our uscis approval got delayed, we were lucky enough to have a  super speedy NVC stage. Good luck to all who are yet to finish off their process!!!!

Thank you. If u haven't tried enquiry/senator do try, it will definitely help. My PD is oct 4 and got approved in third week of june after contacting senator's office multiple times. Hang in there. It will be anytime soon.

Finally entered the last stage of the long process. submitted both packets to NVC. Waiting for the review and interview date. Good luck to all who are still waiting at NVC!!

Unfortunately, those who are under CEAC process can only upload documents. When i called NVC today, I was told they sorted out their server/website issue last friday. So hopefully our fees will be getting processed soon

Mine is still showing the same. It seems i have to give it a week more time. 

I paid fees on july 12. nothing happened so far. Website is still showing fees in process. I can see many people in this forum getting it done within a couple of days. Anybody faced delays with fees processing ?

I was told theyare having some problems with the website. I paid fees on july 12 and nothing happened so far. when did u pay fees?

I paid the fees 4 days back. nothing happened so far. When i called NVC, I was told to wait 2 weeks.

I paid both the fees 2 days back. How long did it take for u guys for changing the status from in process to paid? Anybody here with frankfurt consulate?

YAY!!! It took a week for USCIS to send the documents to NVC (Noa2 on 5/26 & sent to NVC on June 6) and it was a week after that that it arrived (arrived June 13). We don't have the NVC number or the invoice number, they said that takes less than 2 weeks. My wife hasn't recieved anything yet, but I think that once it gets to the embassy phase then she'll start getting mail from them. Congrats again!

Finally the day has come. we got approved after long 8.5 months waiting. Will NVC/USCIS gonna send any documents to beneficiary during the process further?

So if i give the updated address to NVC, will that be fine (i assume NVC contacts embassy)? I am trying not to request for change of address at USCIS, since I am still waiting for approval and planning to make a case inquiry. I heard they won't allow to submit inquiry, if they have done something related to case in past 60 days.

Should we need to tell USCIS, if there is a change in address for beneficiary? or will it be enough to tell NVC, once case gets transferred to NVC after approval from USCIS? After approval, Is beneficiary supposed to get any packages from USCIS? Thank you

Talked to a tier 2 today, and.... we were "recommended for approval", ie, we're approved! I guess that it is next seen by a supervisor before the official letter is sent out, that is what the Tier 2 told me, and until the letter is sent they say "recommended for approval" rather than approved.

232 days in between NOA 1 and approved, what a long wait. I'm hoping that step 2, NVC, can go smoothly.

Have you talked to a tier 2 recently? They can tell you if there has been any recent activity on your case. From what I understand, the majority of people go through 72 hours of BG checks. Another group of people go through additional BG checks for 45 days (I'm guess I'm in that group as my case started to have activity around 45 days after the BG started). And one more group goes through bG checks that last even longer.

Contacted last friday. It seems i am one of those unfortunate souls in the last group which takes forever

Have you heard anything new on your case? Have you been any to clear the BG yet?

nothhing new. stuck in the new black hole 'extended review'. No idea what that means, may be extended review for bg check. loosing all hope now

USCIS updated processing dates, sep 30 for NSC. U can now submit a case inquiry. Hope it helps!!
