Omg omg omg - checked the site last night and it says my Interview has been scheduled!!!!! I just kept staring at the page. I had checked it yesterday morning and it still said biometrics. Now to find the Documents tab (???) so I can see the Interview date! 

FINALLY a happy update: after we moved to a new jurisdiction this past summer, my wife finally got her N-400 interview rescheduled for yesterday, merely a bit over 13 months after Chicago had refused to do the combo option back in Nov 2017 (following her initial application online in July 2017). It went fine!
 
Apparently the file didn't reflect the fact that her ROC had been adjudicated back in Dec 2017. Aargh. So there is some behind-the-scenes fiddling related to that and no on-the-spot approval, but the officer indicated that all should be well.

Hi Shanshanjamrock! You can. The way Oath is set up, it doesn't deter you from being with a baby, Go for it!

I had my interview on december 11 and thanks God I passed!!  now just waiting for oath ceremony. 

I have been scheduled for dec 22

Hey guys, I had my I-751 and N-400 combo interview today, it went very well and much faster than I thought, the whole interview was less than 30 minutes! They didn't even ask my husband to get interviewed with me. Basic questions such as where and how we met, when I came to the U.S. the first time and why, when was the last time I entered America were asked, the interviewer was very professional. Then they asked the naturalization questions such as who was the first president, who is the current state governor, where is the Statue of Liberty and so on. At last I got a notification that the N-400 application was recommended to approve and submitted for quality review. The next step is to wait for letter of Oath Ceremony schedule! The interviewer did mention I may have to wait for 3 to 4 weeks till I receive the letter since they will close for one week due to holidays.
 
I submitted my I-751 early May 2017, and N-400 mid of May 2018, got interview schedule notice in early November.
 
For all of you who are still waiting, good luck and don't worry too much! I also want to thank everyone who shared their case update, asked questions or answered questions. Happy holidays to all of you!

i just get a mail today informing me that Oath ceremony will be on December 19

Had my oath ceremony today and now I am a citizen of the USA!

yes , i did an interview on the 11/02/2018. waiting for the cerermony right now 

So, I can say I am 90% done with the process now, yay!
 
I reached at 9:40 and my scheduled time was 10:45, the front desk told me your wait time will start aftere your schedule time. About 11:00AM IO came and called my ticket number. 
 
Interview was straight forward, Ms. Parker was the nicest interview officer I can imagine of.  She asked for my passport, GC and drivers license. 
 
She asked me 6 questions, I remember few as follows
 
1. President for how many years
2. Longest River
3. Speaker of house
4. Independence day
 
Read and write "When is flag day"
 
There were few changes after I filled application,  my address, an international trip and my job company. Went over all these changes, and finalize those.  and thats it. She said congratiulation I am recommending you for approval but the paper I receive says "still not approved or something" and she said its because she has to get approval from her supervisor and there is noting I should be worried of. Accodring to her I will be getting the oath letter in 4-6 weeks. 
 
It was less than 20 mins of total time.

Thank you, @Jane D! I am still not used to bring a citizen yet. Come to think of it, it's only been a week since the Oath Ceremony. I already applied for my passport, the very next day. That should take 4-6 weeks. I already received a notification that they have received my application, and have also received fee payment. I cannot wait to receive my new passport, and then I'll feel complete. Fortunately, I just got back from visiting my home country in March. It was the long lines (for green card holders) and the extra scrutiny in the custom offices that resulted in applying for citizenship the very next day. Now, December 5, is around the corner, 13 days to go for your Naturalization interview @Jane D, and chances are, you'll most probably have your Oath ceremony the last days of December or latest, early January 2019. Our prayers are with you! You are now on homestretch, and go get 'em! Happy Holidays, everyone!

This is truly a memorable moment, I can’t even imagine the feelings yet, must be something unreal, after all of that frustration and wait!! Really happy for you!! And thank you for your encouraging words!

You are right @DonaDony. There are Passport Agencies that cater for expedited services, and just like you said, with an appointment and a flight ticket showing your upcoming travel, they'll accommodate returning your certificate immediately, in case of same day travel or next day travel. I would advise you to inquire from the agency when making an appointment. Those who have to submit their original and wait for weeks are those who apply online or at the post office.

Finally, i'm a US citizen 11/15/18🎉!thank you visajourney for being of good help from my K1 processing up to my citizenship journey☺️ i'm now waiting for my US passport (applied 11/16/18) God bless everyone!

I am going to have my N400 interview in early December with I751 pending, not sure if it's going to be a combo interview or not. I just wanna say, I have been checking the online forum very frequently and you are always so helpful. Just wanted to express my appreciation to you! @Lu & Soso

I am finally a US citizen. The ceremony was only 50 minutes long and there were 129 new citizens. Let me take this opportunity to extend my deepest gratitude to all those members of VJ who took their time to share their stories, answer questions and support everyone who sought support in figuring their case status. What you have done is not only bring hope during moments of despair, frustration, confusion, but motivated everyone to believe in this protracted process. Thank you for all your support, and may your future pursuits bear intended fruits. To those who are still racing towards the finish line, even tiring and uncertain this process is at times, don't ever give up. The finish line, no matter how long, is worth all the struggles. Last but not least, I can never forget the work of the Immigration Officers, who made this journey fruitful by guiding us through the process, eased our nerves when overwhelmed and gave us confidence towards our goal. I am still on the fence as to whether I should apply for my N-400 or not, I travel internationally for work and having a GC would be very useful when it comes to applying for visas and travel
