Hey, thanks a lot for everyone's help, my visa is approved. Everything went well, lady who questioned me was really nice. She asked me how we met, and when, what is he doing for living, and when I plan to go to USA. It was 5 minutes conversation, she didn't ask for any document, not even checklist we got.

Visa will be issued in three businesses days 🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️

P4 letter is general letter for everyone

I did receive a letter from embassy, similar to P4, just some different request specific from the embassy (a document issued from my country)

and when I attended my interview, the officer asked me to put my document in order in accordance the embassy email

I am not sure if the embassy in ur country is going to send u one, if not, u still can follow the checklist in P4 letter

    hope the info helps

    good luck!

I still stand by those comments. Our visa paperwork was looked over very meticulously when we presented it at the interview and the wet signature was absolutely required. The person reviewing our documents thumbed through every single page of the Affidavit of Support for myself and for our cosponsor and they studied the signature to make sure it was authentic. My attorney made a point of telling me we absolutely needed to have the wet signature.

The announcement that wet signatures are no longer required is extremely misleading, very confusing, and completely false. The way it is stated in the article makes it sound like just a photocopy is ok, but my opinion is that NVC allows photocopies of the signature for purposes of completing the case, while the wet signature is required at the embassy.

Oh so Many little things to take care of..

i sent email to emabassy asking if our signature can be scanned.

They replied me that they prefer original, but scanned signature is acceptable. Maybe it depends on embassy

It's not confusing, and entirely dependent on whether they file taxes "married- filing separately" or "married- filing jointly"

Well, thank you for your answers, I'll show this to my husband, so he will send me filed forms for interview..

I just don't want to make mistakes and delays, and make everything right, sorry for questioning this much hehe :)

We will have to disagree on that- we have had plenty of members here getting an RFE and/ or sent to AP after interview causing delays, because a "married, filing jointly": couple didn't include a I-864a.

Really? then I would need moms w2, and pay stubs?

it was approved at NVC like that, the reason why we didn't added his mum here at everything is because we wanted it simple.. she makes same as he, his dad.. she is not dependent

yes, those household sizes sound correct, unless anyone else was claimed on taxes (another child etc)

O, they don't have another child as dependent. I was confused if he need to count his parents on his household size, so then it would be 4, not 2. But we will file like 2. Thank you for response :)))

Hello, I'm preparing for my interview.

i got checklist, and I need to bring Corrected i-864 with me.

im really confused about that household size that we need to correct.

My husband lives with his parents and his dad is our joint sponsor.

Does on his household size need to be total 3? Joint sponsor, his wife, and me(beneficiary)

and on my husbands household size need to be 2? My husband(petitioner), and me(beneficiary).

sorry if this is not place for this question..

and when he printed online filed I-864 there was no barcode. Is it okay to send it to me like that? With no barcode..

No their I-864 won't match for household size because for example your husband won't need to include his mom, but dad (who is married to mom) will have to.

If dad field taxes "married, filing jointly" then yes, mom wil need to file a I-864a.  If he filed "married, filing separately" then it is not necessary, but it can't hurt...

Oh okay, you helped me a lot. Thank you very much:)

Aramex is the courier service for the US Embassy in Cairo. So I believe this company is specific to Egypt or this region in general.

We registered with Aramex through UStraveldocs that was listed in the instruction list for our consulate. We were able to print it off after going through all the steps.

I believe your consulate is sarajevo, right? https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/SAR - Sarajevo.pdf - this is the pre-interview instruction list, follow it and will guide you how to register your appointment for your courier.  When you click on register on this link above, it will take you to another link; be sure to save this link so you can go back to it at any time.

I hope this helps and good luck. :)

Oh thank you for your time to find that, that's very nice ❤️

i already registered My appointment, and I found confirmation at that site.. thanks 🙃

What is Aramex confirmation page? Is that confirmation you got after you register your appointment at embassy? I registered mine appointment, but now I don't know how to find confirmation, I got it in email, but there is no attachment for print 😳

    Many congratulations on approval.🤗🤗

Basically this is the form letter that you get after your case is closed and you are put into line for an embassy interview.  Nothing to worry about and congrats on case closed.  There are some visa categories that are limited in number each year and if they fill up then they are finished for the year and you must wait until it is open again... IR1/CR1s do not have limits because one of the spouses is a legal US citizen.  So I would say you are good to go and just wait for that email for your interview date... Good luck.

Oh okay, thank you very much 🤗🙂

  13. I got e-mail from Nvc this morning. I don't understand, does cr1 visa category needs to wait for their priority date to be current?

    Scan date: April,05

    cc: June,01

    email says:

NVC schedules appointments one month in advance.  The U.S. Embassy tells us what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC fills these appointments as they become documentarily qualified.  Most appointments are set within three months of NVC’s receipt of all requested documentation.  However, before applicants in a numerically limited (preference) visa category can receive an appointment, their priority date must also be current.  This can delay receipt of an appointment.  You can track your priority date using the Visa Bulletin on travel.state.gov.
