    Waiting

Went to see my wife 3 months after wedding in thailand

Now planning to see her again in 3 more months

If i see her every 3-4 months time will be easier to get by

Long distance sucks .. we fight/argue occasionaly on stupid stuff... is it just us or long distance does this to u ???

We talk/text everyday with long skype sessions on the weekend

I would get really paranoid sometimes and get upset for stupid reasons too...We made a deal if happens (if my visa dont get approved within 6 months) then husband would consider leaving his country... that makes me feel better but the 6 months ahead sounds like hell to me... i'm going to visit him in LA for a week starting this weekend, at the same time not wanting the visa to get approved this soon otherwise i wont be able to land....

    So it's not just you:jest:

Oh really? I didn't know that. He filed the i129f together with a copy of i130 noa1 and we received a noa1 for the i129f on 8th June.. oh well, nothing to lose. We keep on waiting.

Oh i read on some other threads that people filing concurrent petitions and saying that they will receive a i-129f case close notification if their i-130 is approved, you can check for updates as an indication at least! Best of luck!

What does it mean if its case sent to local office?

    Saw different answers regarding that...

Some says it's just a transfer to another service centre and some says it involves an interview that normally isnt required...

But since usually the notice by mail will contain a lot more information, no one can be sure about what it means unless one receives it...

No worries it's good to keep myself busy doing this as well :)

    - 2 cases on Dec 6 sent to DOS

    - 1 case on Dec 19 sent Request for Initial Evidence

    - 2 cases on Dec 22 sent to DOS

    - 1 case on Dec 27 sent Request for Initial Evidence

    - 1 case on Dec 30 sent Request for Additional Evidence

    - 3 cases on Jan 9 sent to DOS

Wondering what the distribution of the I-130 for spouse or other relatives, USC or residence is...

  5. Hump day updates:

    - 1 case on Dec 15 sent to DOS

    - 1 case on Dec 16 sent to DOS

It says explicitly on the USCIS site regarding transfers that your case number doesn't change when you get transferred, so they should be original.

From what I read though in other threads, the tier 1 customer service people only see the numbers published online which based off of the large number of USCs on here that have gotten NOA2, must have Nebraska transfers sprinkled in.

That's good to know! All the cases that i see on the app are with case numbers starting with SRC, which means Texas. So it eliminates the chance they are from Nebraska.

I cross check frequently on the "Immigration Timeline" Tag above, choose Spousal visa stats, in the filter area choose TSC, Not Transferred (love this function), order by NOA1 date and it shows it's half way through Dec already for Non transferred TSC cases.

    http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?cfl=0&op1=a&op2=&op3=5&op4=23&op5=5,6,8,10,11,13,14,15,16,17,18,20,21,22,25,26,27,28,108,110,111,208,210,211&op6=Texas Service Center&op66=Not Transfered&op7=All&dfile=No&adv=0

Cross checking different sources and be objective about it is key!!! Keep up the positive spirit fellas!

i'll keep the report going until we got more good news!!!

However,  these petitions are from September 2016 I take it.

I filed January 3, got my NOA 1 on January 9th.

I've called USCIS twice and I was told They're in September 2016 that they have not gotten to January yet what's being processed are the September petitions or other i-130.

What's processing for December and January are not for us citizens but for permanent resident filing i-130 or other petitions.

As of June 15th I was told due to the backlog and delay I still have approximately 4 months to go  for my noa2!

Oh i didn't know we can call and find out which month they are at! Did they verbally confirm that they are processing resident's cases instead of citizen's?

And did they say these i-130 are tranfer from Nebraska? I think we can find out easily from other groups that's got transferred to see if their case number has changed to TSC from NSC.

Case numbers i see that's been approved has initials with SRC, but it does not give more detail which type it is, or for whom unfortunately.

I read that some people calling USCIS and were told they should be able to get a status change after about 6 months and hopefully you hear something soon!

My NOA1 is 21 Feb and i will find out in a month :P

  8. I found out the system usually has delay on updates during the weekend, now we can see more approvals since Friday:

    - 2 cases on Dec 22 sent to DOS

    - 4 cases on Dec 23 sent to DOS

    - 5 cases on Dec 27 sent to DOS

    - 1 case on Jan 3 sent Request for Initial Evidence

    - 1 case on Jan 3 sent to DOS

    - 4 cases on Jan 13 sent to DOS

    - 3 cases on Jan 17 sent to DOS

Was so anxious hoping to see some Feb approvals :(

    hey guys,

    we've filed concurrent applications for I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131.

Our PD is February 02. Service center is NBC.

Both I-765 and i-131 been approved and card was received.

does anyone has knowledge about NBC service center, how slow or fast they are, any other things that you may share?

thanks and good luck to everyone

How can that possibly happened, so many forms?:o

  10. Some updates 14-15 Jun:

    - 1 case on Dec 6 was APPROVED

    - 1 case on Dec 16 sent to DOS

    - 1 case on Dec 19 sent to DOS

    - 1 case on Dec 20 sent to DOS

    - 2 cases on Dec 22 was APPROVED

    - 3 cases on Dec 23 was APPROVED

    - 1 case on Dec 23 was sent to local office

    - 1 cases on Dec 28 sent to DOS

    - 1 case on Dec 29 sent to DOS

    - 6 cases on Jan 4 was APPROVED

    - 3 cases on Jan 13 was APPROVED

    Not bad!

Agreed. They really need to hire someone to proofread this stuff :) it's mush more likely that both of these should be December 2nd (which fits with the approvals we saw on here in that timeframe).

Or i also have another theory that they might be just updating this looking at the last case that they approved on 30 Apr, when they were then super busy approving September cases transferred from Nebraska.

Processing times updated.. Texas officially the slowest SC now

I-130 Petition for Alien Relative Permanent resident filling for a spouse or child under 21 December 2, 2016
I-130 Petition for Alien Relative U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21 September 2, 2016

    :(

I don't think they have updated this really, it's been the same data since forever so this one is simply not accurate and we should not be discouraged by this.

Stay positive because there should be something happening before 6 months waiting time.

Sorry, im not sure if you have been asked this before but where are you getting this info from?

Yes a few times but it's ok, i'm using this app on iOS called Case tracker.

In the search function i first put in my case number ABC0000000000 and search up to 20-50 cases from that number on, then i try moving the number forward and backward and searched for other I-130 cases and track them if it's "case was received". I started from early Dec to late Feb. (if you search for too many cases too many times on the same day they will block your IP for up to a day or 2 so be wise about it)

Everyday i refresh the cases i follow and delete those with a change of status such as approved / sent to DOS so i get to see new approvals straight up the next day.

But what i followed was totally random and not exhaustive, not necessarily a petition for spouse, just an indicative idea of what's going on in my centre.

It became a habit so i get to kill some time everyday :)

  14. Since i delete cases that i see with status change on the tracker list, there definitely are cases that updates slower than the actual approval date, i.e. i see cases approved last week but the online status only changed just now:

    - 1 case on Dec 16 sent to DOS (35 days after response to RFE received)

    - 1 case on Dec 22 sent to DOS

    - 1 case on Dec 23 Request for Initial Evidence

    - 1 cases on Dec 27 sent to DOS

    - 1 case on Dec 28 Request for Initial Evidence

    - 1 case on Dec 29 Request for Initial Evidence

    - 2 cases on Jan 18 sent to DOS

    - 1 cases on Jan 20 sent to DOS

    - 4 cases on Jan 23 sent to DOS

This can we call a BREAKTHROUGH??????:o Finally some constant January approval on my phone i see with my own eyes!!!!

Great. If you guys look at the diagram by VJ, it seems that USCIS doesn't approve so many cases during the month of June. Is that right?

    tsc_i130_approvals.gif

Wow, never seen this chart before, wonder if they count the NSC transferred cases as cases approved by TSC...

    That's not looking good :(

I keep reading threads from other months' filers to get the picture of the current approval status. Looks like Potomac has been doing well~
