I think "ability" and "generally" are the key words here. It's discretionary.

It's like saying they "generally" issue EADs within 90 days. Sure, but when you look at the stats, it's not what actually happens.

I've worked with mental health patients before and honestly, even the healthiest of people in immigration I recommend some sort of counseling or therapy be it as simple as journaling thoughts or finding a support group of like minds.  It's a trying process and to be honest it's partially why so many relationships do fail.

I know and also read that some people who came to the US on a K1 visa did not have to have an interview because of the K1 visa interview at the US embassy in their home country.
Not sure if that applies to other visa categories too.

Well, the status will only update when/if they actually send you an RFE. That may take months to happen, or may not even happen.
Best advice from @Californiansunset is to just have all your documents ready in case you ever receive an RFE, so you can respond to it as quickly as possible, and it looks like you've got that covered.

    Received my Biometrics Appointment Letter.

Questions: It looks like that my Service Center is the NBC. Does that mean that they will process my applications?
I have to go to the Application Support Center. Anyone who has been there? I thought I would have to go to the Field Office in Atlanta...
Is it possible to give someone my missing documents for the I-864?

having filed for asylum then meeting a usc and getting married will raise red flags since it can appear they are willing to do anything to remain in the us. be prepared for it.

What a week!! congratulations on those that got their packages sent out last week and to those who got their packaged reviewed and NOA 1 sent out to them.

To some who haven't got any update yet from USCIS, be a little patient as the USCIS instructs that if after 30 days you do not get any update from them that you should call, please abide by that. Needless to compare our cases, our individual cases should serve as an encouragement and lesson of ideas of what to do wrong or right to each of us and not as a comparative case study, permit me to say, some of our dear folks like @Becci391, @antoineD,@soft, @PinkCandy, @rose Michigan, @ifoemaUS etc got their cases attended to way after those they sent out together with, please be patient, let's continue to encourage ourselves and keep it positive. it could be frustrating but it is okay.
To @Kalciaa  I can imagine how frustrating your receiving your package could be but please be encouraged and know that we all got your back in prayers and all we could to encourage you and all of us. stay positive and motivated.   Please for those who haven't sent their package yet or know who wants to send their package, take a little time to go through your package and if possible seek a second opinion and when it comes to address be very meticulous and more so when it comes  to addressing the checks or money order be super careful and use  U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY as specified please.   good luck to us all, this week shall be lots of good news to us. cheers

US immigration won't be fair and won't treat every case the same. Your best bet is to never compare your case to others and only to focus on yours. If you start comparing yours to others, you might get frustrated and get anxiety. Just look at what already happens to those who have to wait longer than 2 weeks for their NOA's. Their world is basically falling apart in their eyes because they see others who get their notifications earlier than them.

I happily and sincerely wish to congratulate our dear mates who got their NOA1 and checks cashed despite the delays and all. It is noteworthy that this team of March filers have had pretty good favors in their process ranging from sending out old forms and they were accepted to checks cashed and NOA 1 received and to biometrics scheduled. I say to all, be strong, keep it positive and hopeful.

To some of us who haven't heard from USCIS, do not be detered or have a troubled heart, keep it positive and always believe it will go through.

To some of us who wish their field offices could be few miles away from them, I will humbly suggest we allow the free flow of wherever the send you to be, because with the slow pace of response from USCIS, one may not in my opinion love to have his/her case further prolonged because of that. It is part of the sacrifices that goes with this process.

Good luck to us all folks.

Yes, the 13th. When it arrived is not an important date at this point.

I've looked into it as well since another field office close by is 110 days faster than the one I am at now (I'd be happy if I would just be looking at 1-2 months like you do). Seems like it is not possible. I researched it and apparently you can only change it if your address changes or if it's an emergency. I would think that USCIS switches the field office automatically if another one is close by and there's a significant processing time difference but apparently that is not the case.

Thank you all for your answers

My NOA1 was from MSC/the national benefits center too, but I think they'll eventually be routed to a field office, as SparklePony mentioned.

That's basically it, yeah. But as ALWAYS when it comes to US immigration, your mileage may vary. Some take the whole year to get approved and other applications get done in 6 months. All we can do is hope for the best.

Very popular areas are always going to have a big backlog. That's the issue with offices in big cities like NYC and SF for example.

    Please don't apologize - you're fine :-)

The I-693 will include all information required for AOS. I just wanted to confirm that your doctor is aware of your MMR shot AND previous shots, and you say s/he is.

You're all set: I-693 is all you need on the medical front, at least.

To those of you waiting for their NOA1s, just try to relax. Because some people get theirs within a week doesn't mean that something is wrong if it takes longer for yours.
If you try to call USCIS, the response you will get is to call back after a month of filing. Nothing is wrong if you are still within that time frame.
Plus, as we know, there is a backlog at the Chicago facility so, just be patient and trust that everybody is doing their job correctly.
This process will be much less stressful if you see things that way.
Hope you won't have to wait for too long ! We've all been there.

    you needed to put c-9

if you put a6 then EAD will have i-94 validity time. if you wanted to have 1 year EAD then you needed to put c 9

there is someone else's quote about it

Still no one able to track their cases online yet? I had a look at all case numbers +/- 500 of mine and none were able to be tracked besides those who have received a RFIE.
