Day - 127

They list the received date and NOA2 notice date on the approval and it's interesting that they're exactly four months apart.

My Case Status and apps still say received

Im sure a lot of NOA2s are coming guys! Because we just got ours today! Approved at July 28. Yours are on its way as well!

It's been a long time coming but we FINALLY got our approval!!! holy I still can't believe it. My fiance got it in the mail today but it was approved on July 31st. 
 
Oh god im so relieved. And I'm rooting ferociously for those who are still waiting. Good luck and god bless to you all!! 
Also next steps from other Canadians would be greatly appreciated. I've read up a bit but I'm still confused. Thanks so much in advance !!

Not sure if this info has been shared already but just spoke with a family friend who works at the CSC in Aliso Viejo - he said that they are experiencing MAJOR delays due to K1s being deprioritized in favor of other more urgent immigration cases.  He mentioned that a massive caseload of Haitian immigration applications landed on their desks and they've had to pull a lot of the K1 case reviewers onto the job - apparently, the Temporary Protected Status for those affected by the earthquake got extended so now they are trying to process as many cases as they can so that people don't get deported. Since it's a human rights issue, they've been mandated to prioritze those cases. He said they are so underwater that they've apparently authorized overtime pay for adjudicators for the first time in a long time. He said I should be expecting a minimum of 120+ days since NOA1 to hear from them. I'm a May/June cusp filer, so I've got quite a ways to go still it seems.   
 
While I'm cranky about the delays, I feel a bit better knowing why - thought you guys might want to know as well.  
 
He didn't know anything about the app or the cadence of approvals/status updates.
 
In the meantime, congrats to those who did manage to get some good news this month.

Our visa was approved 15 minutes ago.  
 
This is the happiest moment I have ever experienced in my entire life.
 
For those that still are waiting, stay strong. There is no greater thing in life than to share each moment with the one you love.

Ring the alarm I been waiting too long. I be darn if I wait on the mail when I get home. .....THANK YOU JESUS, THANK YOU GOD!! WE GOT OUR APPROVAL TODAY

Thank everyone of your March whiners who have help me through this long process. ..may we continue to see each other through to the end.

It might or might not be an issue from the USCIS point of view. It is a huge age gap after all.
 
But.. This is my personal opinion (and I'm sure mods are going to censor it soon <3 ) -
Ask yourself what 20 something year old woman would honestly want to marry someone who can be her grandfather? And you barely know each other.
If my time on this website taught me anything, in about a year or so you're going to come back here telling a story how a young woman scammed you for a green card.

So yesterday, a golden letter which is the NOA2 mail arrived!!! He didn't noticed the envelope until today  This is an answered prayer and an early gift since my fiancé's birthday is coming up 
Ours came as a surprise because it was approved 5days ago but we never got any notification from text/email/case tracker. I did a 500 scan last night before I went to sleep but our case still says RFE response was received. I didn't even bothered checking the informed delivery because  we were expecting that our case will not be approved until next week. 
For those who are still waiting for their NOA2, I know your trying your best to be patient. Just hang in there a little more, odds are your NOA2 is being sent to you as we speak 😊

Case was approved 120 days after NOA1 date

This was the first day that I was not excited about going to the mailbox, but what did I find???NOA2 Approved on July 24th. The tracker is still showing received.
 
I did contact my Congress Rep. and request an expedited petition for medical reasons, but neither seemed to help. Now, we hope to have an interview in less than two months, but know that it will likely be longer. 
 
We are just excited now!!!

Guys, great news! Our lawyer's office just emailed me that we've been approved, i'm so happy i could cry right now! Literally so excited I'm shaking at my desk here at work!! Our case was from 03-24-2017!! Not sure the date of the approval on the notice but will post more details when I'm home! OMG!!!  Haven't felt this happy in AGES!!! YES! Good luck to all my fellow march whiners still waiting!!! 

Holy ####### I got my NOA2!!!!  No update on the system nothing! Notice date 07/21. Finally this just made my week

OMG!! This is not a drill....MY NOA2 IS ON ITS WAY!!!!!!!!!!! I'm literally so happy I could cry and scream and freak the eff out! I have goosebumps!!!
 
I have very mixed feelings about posting this because I know there are many of you with NOA1 way before mine that are still waiting, but I'm hoping that it helps others to see I got positive result from contacting my senator. I feel so bad that mine was approved before others because I know how it feels, but I wanted to share so you guys can try contacting your senator also. His office inquired with USCIS on July 24th and coincidentally my case was (according to the email below) approved on July 25th. I can only assume the inquiry prompted them to pull my case and approve the petition. Here's the text of the email I received back from my Senator's office. Took some text out for privacy.

My US Visa Passport has arrived in the house this morning  and I was able to attend CFO after lunch. I got my CFO sticker and GCP Certificate after the program. I'll be flying from Manila to SFO on August 2nd. Please pray for me too. 🙏🏻✈️

BIG NEWS today:) 
I've been just APPROVED in the embassy😊 so so happy, interview is really like a breeze after all the months. It was very fast and easy. The actual interview was maybe two minutes: how did we meet, where did we travel together and what is his job... And that's all:) I couldn't believe my visa is approved, still can't😃

Just checked my informed mail and its there. Noa1 march 24th. I called last week and they didnt even mention that just the usual wait longer speech. Praying for more march approvals.

Day 139 and just saw the USPS scan for today. Finally a letter from USCIS. Looks dated 7/19/17, hoping we can now move along in the process.

Every morning when I check informed delivery I brace myself for disappointment. But not this morning! Top of the email was a picture of a letter from USCIS! I almost can't wait until 3.

Congratulations to all who received their NOA2 and those who are getting ready for their interview. Also to @Alysia&Luis for the interview approval. Just gotta get through POE and y'all will be together for good!!
 
I just wanted to come by and let y'all know I received my NOA2 in the mail yesterday with a 07/13/17 date.. Although I'm not going through with it anymore, I just wanted to give someone a boost of motivation that their still giving out NOA2's even if it's at a tortoise's pace.

Here's my experience:
 
My interview was at 6:40am and was able to get there at 5am from the hotel. They started to let us get inside the Embassy at 6am. I was the 9th in line and we were the first batch! First step was PRE-SCREENING at Window 41. It was a very nice old Filipino guy who asked me for the DS-160 and passport first. Then he asked my name and birthday. Then he asked my fiancé's job. He asked for my Birth Certificate, CeNoMar, NBI Clearance, Fiancé's Affidavit of Support, Latest Tax, 3 Months Latest Bank Statements. Then he also asked me when was the last time I saw my fiancé and how many times he had visited me here.
 
Next step was BIOMETRICS at Window 43. This time, it was a very serious American guy but his job was to do the fingerprinting. It only took me 2-3 minutes to get it done. 
 
Then I proceeded to the INTERVIEW at Window 62. The consul was a very kind and happy lady. She asked me to raise my right hand and made me swear to tell the truth. Then she asked:
 
How did you meet your fiancé?
Have you traveled to other countries?
When was the last time you saw your fiancé?
 
Then she was checking something on the computer and looking at all the documents I've submitted during the Pre-Screening.
 
And then she handed me the IMBRA pamphlet and told me about domestic violence and call 911 if something happens. 
 
She said the golden word, CONGRATULATIONS!!! YOU'RE APPROVED!!! Your visa will arrive in 5-10 days. Kindly register your address online. Have a great day! 😁😁😁
 
Then I said, THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH, MA'AM!!! 😁😁😁
 
Then at 7:40am, I went back to my hotel and called my fiancé! ❤️❤️❤️ 
 

Good news from Germany as well!  

I called NVC a while ago and got our casenumber!
Scott got the email in the meantime, haha!

Medical: Tomorrow!!!

No email or text. And no status update on the website..so there is some problem going on!
Wheeeew big relief off my shoulders

Well it starts yet another week here in a bit...prayers and hopes of approvals for those of us still waiting on our noa2....also for those that are awaiting nvc, or thier physicals or interviews. I hope all the march filers get to see major moves forward this week. I hope everyone finds strength and patience...i know i lack in the patience sometimes but i have to admit this forum, reading everyones good days...and bad days has helped me at my weakest...thank you all...hopefully ill see more celebration from all of you this week..
And hopefully ill get to celebrate some too...good luck and God bless you all..
