They received my file on 20 Nov. No I didn't get any updates about EAD.

I hope that they either sent us our EAD already without updating the tracker or they are currently working on it now. lol.

Is there anyone in here who filed between the 20th to the end of november and already received their EAD? Thank you

I understand your worry, and I also know the urge to stare at your screen for minutes on end. Yet, in this situation, just close the window of your computer. I'm serious, although it might sound hard. Your status will jump back and forth as Geowrian has stated already, and since you are already approved, you can expect your passport with the visa within a couple of days. Honestly, keep busy to take your mind off of CEAC for the moment.
Congrats on your visa approval. You'll be with your love soon
Thank you! 😁😁 i was actually all good then when i woke up for work, i all of a sudden thought of checking it then that showed up. Haha. Thank you guys! 😊😊 you will also be with the love of your lives soon. 😁😁

This isn't anything abnormal. It'll switch back a forth a few times before actually being issued. Congrats!
Thank you @geowrian!! You make people sane. 😁😁 it is just weird because it already said ISSUED and now it shows AP.

I have a question. I had my interview last week Monday (04/10/2017) and I was approved. Tuesday, the CEAC status was changed to ISSUED from AP.
Then just right now, i checked the status and it said AP again. Can someone please advise me on what this means? I did not get a 221g or anything at all.
Thank you. 😁😁

Hello K1 Family. I just wanted to share my interview experience yesterday at the Manila Embassy.
I was there around 8:20 and before you enter, they will ask you for your DS-160 so they can put the barcode sticker in it. They would also ask what time is your interview appointment.
You don't have to worry since there are a lot of people there who would tell you what to do, where to go and what is next. Upon entry, they will let you sit to wait for your turn on the Pre-interview.
On the pre-interview, i was asked for all my documents. Don't worry, they will give back what they don't need and they would ask if something is missing. The lady also asked for pictures and since i had a thick album, she just had me open it and show to her so she can note it on the system.
After the pre-interview, you will need to fall in line for the finger printing window (window 46 if I am not mistaken). Please make sure that your hands are dry and to read the instructions while waiting so you won't have a hard time. You will need to show your DS-160 then your name and then finger print scanning.
Once you are done, you will need to sit with the others for your interview, there will be people assisting you so do not worry. During my interview (Window 60), it was so smooth. I was asked for my DS-160 then my name then he went to get my documents and then made me do the oath which you will just say YES. He asked me 5 questions:
1. Where did you and Matthew meet
2. How many times did he come here
3. What does he do?
4. Where is he living?
5. Have you ever travelled outside the Philippines? Then the consul looked at me and smiled and said "So i see here that the relationship is genuine and that we will approve your visa" and I smiled and said thank you and I even told him that i have a lot of evidence in my bag and he said that he can see that since my bag is big but it is no longer necessary. Then i was told to wait for my visa within 5-10 business days and was given the pamphlet. 😁😁😁😁
I went outside and it was around 9:35 am.
Thank you all for the support and prayers.
I am and will continue to pray for the other who are still undergoing the process. We will all pass!! ❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊P.S
Just be honest, relax and don't forget to pray. 😉😉 -

That's incorrect. The I-134 is presented at the interview, not prior to it. It can be sent sooner, but updated supporting evidence would need to be brought anyway so there's no benefit in doing so.
I agree with this. The affidavit of support is not needed on the petition you send to USCIS. People tend to include it on the packet they send but it is not necessary since they will still ask for it eventually on your interview day. Since they want to make sure that they have the most updated evidence of support.

Hi @Kiki-G. My fiancée printed out the e-mail from the USEM stating that our case is eligible to be scheduled for an interview. I received the e-mail approximately 1 week after the status changed as "Ready" in CEAC website. From what I've read from other people in this forum, not everyone receives any correspondence from USEM at all. If this is the case, I believe you can bring a screenshot of the "Ready" status window from CEAC website. Also, it's really easy to request status of your case from NVC by using the link below. I also received our NVC case status by using the link below, the response from NVC is very similar to the e-mail USEM sent me. I believe what's relevant to St. Luke's is for the beneficiary to provide them with your MNL case number. Hope this helps.
Thank you!!!

We didn't even wait for the NVC status to say "In Transit", as soon as I got the MNL# from NVC I had my fiancee pay the visa. The most important thing is to make sure that the status is "Ready" in time for the interview.
Hi @VinceKath!
Quick question, when you went for your medical, did you bring the letter from NVC? what if we do not have 1?

Thank you so much! Now that made my day! ??

Quick question please.
if NVC status says IN TRANSIT, is it okay to pay for the visa fee already?
-> Philippines specifically. Thank you!

I tried calling NVC and it didn't even let me stay on hold because they were too busy with other calls
You actually can dial again with 1 minute intervals. They do that, they won't give you the option to be on hold then hang up and once you dial again, you will have that option. ??

Thanks for the chat,.
On the plus side, my fiancee will still be coming at the same time...we planned to spend some time in PH first, so this only shifts those dates, but not the pseudo-planned dates for her to be in the US.
yay!! That is the most exciting part.
go to Cebu and swim with the whales

Hmm..maybe? But you're "supposed" to send the RFE notice with the response, so I'll wait for it. Plus, who knows if they lost a paper or something else instead. USCIS...
haha.. makes sense..

How we met - I figured they would recognize OKC, but assuming they hired/trained new people in Dec/Jan., then this was to be expected. I already have the information needed printed (with a cover letter and such) and ready to send once the RFE comes in. I tried to send it prior but they won't accept more documentation until the RFE is issued.
I see. Do you think they will accept it now that they issued RFE so you do not have to wait for the letter or do you have to attach the letter with it?
Almost there.

She is not caring about the process at all and its left me in a wim that I'm doing this by myself.
I read all of the posts of couples and how they are so excited to see there fiance it breaks my heart that I don't even have that sad actually.
But I'll keep faith and just look fwd to my interview date and if I get denied its all her fault
I hope you won't take offense of what I am about to say. But do you think it will be worth marrying someone who does not even care about it? If at this point she does not care, what makes you think she will later. I understand that you already paid the fees and yes, why not push through with the process since you are the one paying for it anyway. However, is it only the case that she does not care about is something you also need to ask yourself. We are in no place to judge at all since we do not know the person and the story.
You do not want to hate a person for wasting your time, money, effort and will break your heart because you did not both talk about the problem.

Lol USCIS emergency please do your applications in the order of which they were received ???? I think that's a valid emergency!
Chile was having those massive fires and my fiancées area was affected, I considered filing expedite for that but I said eh why do that we'll be getting the noa2 soon enough ... could kick myself now! Although I'm not even sure they would have approved that for an expedite or not. There was a national state of emergency at that time though not anymore. ?
Praying and hoping that your fiance and everybody is okay.

No didn't send any photos I will now.. tons of em, do they have to be on photo paper, was planning on printing them on my computer
Probably that is what they need. The photos. Because they might think that even if you boarded and all but they need to see that you both saw each other.
Frustrating but at least you know they already touched your case. ?? and you'll soon get your approval.
