Hi.
Texas office received my application on May 18, 2020. Check was cashed and i received my case number. The notification which came in email said I should wait for the receipt with instructions. My 2yr green card expired two days ago and I still did not receive anything in mail. I called USCIS few days ago, before my GC expired and was told to send them an email. Which I did, right away. But still no response. Anyone had the same experience?

Hi.
Filling out I-751. After reading instructions I’m a bit confused. It says here I need to provide tow completed fingerprint cards (Form FD-258).
What is that and how do I get this part done?
Thank you in advance

Hi. I am about to start filing I-751.
What else do I need, besides. Proof of marriage?
My husband is a Ua citizen. I work full time and file my own taxes as married but filing separately. Do I have to submit his tax returns as well?

Your registration and insurance. You can drive here on US if you’re from Canada

I see, even if it's not expired, we have to get a new one done. That sucks.
Yes. We had to pay 350$ for my wife’s medical

Hello everyone,
My fiancé is about to go get her medical done for the K1 visa on Tuesday. The question we have is can the medical she gets done be used for the green card application process? How long is the medical valid for? We've been getting conflicting info on it. Thank you
No. For AOS you need to get a new one. There will be a list on the USCIS website where she can get one done. My wife got her medical done 2 weeks before our Interview

I just paid google $10 (I'm glad I didn't choose the $25 option). Everything looks good. I dial from voice.google.com, my phone rings and I get the "it'll cost you twelve cents per minute. Then ring..ring...ring, ring...and after a while, click.
Ok I thought, maybe not home, maybe at church? So I called the next relative, and the next, now I've called six--no answer from anyone including my wife's comment "call her, she lives with her phone..." Nope
Does google voice work? I'm calling to Cebu and Negros Oriental.
Thoughts?
Use Viber, it’s free. Just download the app. Everyone worldwide uses it.

I have not received my Green Card interview as yet. She even stated that she wouldn't even go to the interview. I only have my work permit so. also I know that she is Consulting a divorce lawyer at the moment, should I consult one as well??
You don’t need to hire an attorney and waste money. She already doing it. All you can do now is sign the papers.

I'm in the process of collecting paperwork for an i-129f. (I'm the petitioner)
I have 2 previous arrests in New York (15 years ago, and one from over 30 years ago - nothing major). I called the court - no problem in getting the certified dispositions, and I'm in the process of obtaining those now.
Now, I am trying to get my arrest records. I called the police station - they told me I need to file a FOIL request. Wrong. I already know that's wrong. So I called back again after a little more research... this time a little bit smarter, and got the records department. I'm a few states away, so I can't exactly walk in.
They told me that they DON'T supply certified copies. They can give me a 'letter of good conduct', listing my arrests, but not certified. I made it clear that this is for immigration, and they require a certified letter. I got the same reply back, and was told that immigration could 'give them a call if they had any issues'... (She's obviously never worked with immigration.) I then asked if she could write on the form that they don't give certified copies, and got a "no" for that also.
Given we all know how long the filing process takes, I'm really not looking for an RFE.Is an attorney going to be able to do any better? Or do you think immigration will take this letter? Is it worth trying to call USCIS?
Thanks for any thoughts or advice on this.
Those records you receive from them are certified because they are issued by court. I had the same problem as you. I sent in the copies of those records and everything was fine. No need to worry about that. As long as you’re being honest that’s all they care about.

Even though my wife had it done in Ukraine she still went to one in US. She got some of the shots that are required in US. So I would say it’s best one get it done again and bring a fresh one to the interview. You might not need it, but it’s better to have it just in case they do ask for it.

Hi.
Yes, the instructions says you need a new “intent to marry” letter. They didn’t even looked at it when my now wife went through that interview, but you still need to make a new one with the most recent date on it and a signature

Hi.
I filled out N-400 online. I have a question if anyone filled out and filed the form online. Where do I upload passport photos? Is it in the part where it says upload any evidence? And also, how do I make a payment.
Thank you

Call Ukrainian embassy in NY. I know few people who renewed their passport through them. It takes about 2 month.

For the future reference, when you go to court even if it’s for a traffic violation always get a lawyer. But since you live in a small town, talk to prosecutor before you go in front of the judge, to lower your charge. And never plead guilty. When you plead guilty they automatically give you maximum sentence. Traffic violation you can always negotiate.

Hi. It might be ok, but better make it two separate. Never know who is reviewing your file. Just to be on a safe side.

Why is it a "misdemeanor"?
I have never seen a traffic violation be categorized as a misdemeanor.
Each state is different.....Some states have the weirdest laws

My sister had all of the right paperwork and shots for a cat, and still they gave her hard time and wouldn’t let the cat on the plane. Same airline.......

This is a serious but hard question. My fiance is in Russia and just got visa approval after embassy interview.
We just had an unexpected delay in buying tickets to come here. She called the airline Aeroflot to ask about pet requirements and the said that dogs (She has a small chihuahua) must be chipped for more than 30 days prior to travel.
On the airlines website this is not a requirement, and on all the US websites this is not a requirement for any government agency. Can anyone give advice on traveling to the US with a pet dog? This is not a service animal or anything exotic. She has all her paperwork and shots but it would be a shame to have to delay for 2 weeks or more to wait for a mysterious 30+ day after chipping travel requirement.
Only knowledgable experienced replies please. I don't need general advice as we have already read all the relevant regulatory agencies websites. Has anyone actually immigrated to the US with a pet?
Let her talk to someone in charge at Customs and have her “grease their hand” This is Russia. That’s how things are done there or any other USSR country. Not a joke....speaking from experience. They do all of this on purpose to get paid. impose some BS policies for people who have no other opinions....

We filed on May 19th and received email stating our case was received and to wait for a letter with further instructions. We waited for a month, like the email stated. Nothing came in the mail. I emailed USCIS and they responded wishing 3 weeks, stating they received out founder and the wait time is approximately 18 month. That’s it.
