  1. Hello, Can my Faince renew her passport while our case is in Transit status? We are about to start the DS160 and get ready for the interview. Her passport will expire in a year or so. Is it safe to renew it or just wait for the new passport will have a different passport number?
  2. That's helpful. Did you get any updates? I have similar circumstances, and I am debating whether or not to email NVC about creating my account email. My 1-797 notice of action letter says December 13th.
  3. Hello, We are writing regarding two case numbers associated with our application, each of which indicates different receiving numbers. One notice states that the case was sent to the Department of State on December 30, 2024, the other said 13 (It is just one beneficiary). However, we have not yet received the email to create our account with from the National Visa Center (NVC). According to the current case creation time frame on the NVC website, It says "as of January 21, 2025, cases received from USCIS on January 11, 2025 are being processed". This seems to indicate that our case should have already been created. Additionally, our approval notice states a validity period from October 24, 2024, to January 22, 2025, on the 1-797 Notice of Action, meaning tomorrow is the last day of validity. We are concerned about the delay in receiving the account creation email and would like guidance on what steps we should take to resolve this issue promptly. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.
  4. Is it too bad to put affidavit letters from friends and family from both countries before they ask RFE, is it too much? is it better or unnecessary?
  5. Is it important to have the intent letter to marry with the K1 visa in wet ink? I forgot to have the letter from my Fiancee while I was with her. Any solutions?
  6. Can I file now and go in August? Thank you for your advice! I do truly love her and we have chats, videos, and enough evidence that we are in a faithful relationship. So you think one visit is not fully convincing or even enough... I am not gonna argue with you because I know that you know. I just don't want to waste more time.
  7. So I met her for 10 days only one time and I had known her for only 3 months in total but now we are in love and we would like to marry. Is that convincing since we are from the Middle East? I may go on Christmas.
  8. For how long? I mean, I live in the USA and she is in the Middle East. I will only be there for less than a week or 10 days every time I will see or visit her. I only see her once so far. I am trying to catch her a few more trips but I am not so sure yet.
  9. Is there any time required regarding how long I know my Fiance before we file the Fiance Visa? Are 30 days acceptable?
  10. Thank you. If I put intimate pictures, they may think we are married not engaged. Am I right? Such as pictures of us cuddling in front of the TV or in the bathtub.
  11. Are 10 years age difference acceptable for the immigration "USCIS and embassy" I am 40 years old and she is 30 years old.
  12. Can I post pictures of me and my Fiance Visa where we are home or with very light clothes? Are there any restrictions on pictures? or what to show and what not to show?
  13. Hello, How can I prove that I am single and I can marry? I can not find anything in the United States of America to provide the marital status of being single. Did anyone face that?
  14. I got all of your points. In the Middle East, everything is so different than even Europe. I have to make a decision this week about which application should I pick whether a Fiance or Spouse visa. I can not wait and I have faith that a Fiance Visa might be better and faster. I understand the consequences of it too. I wish it was not that hard for US citizens. I am also concerned that the council/embassy in my county may ask for this contract "engagement contract" since it is very popular to have an engagement agreement/contract.
  15. My apologies, I meant the engagement contract. As we have it in my country. No, I meant an Engagement Contract.
  16. In my country, we have something called an engagement contract. That's why, I asked. Should I involve it as a piece of evidence or not?
  17. Does USCIS accept the fiance contract or do they think it is a marriage contract? I mean is it ok to submit a finance contract with the evidence or it is unnecessary? Thanks
  18. The more I read the more I am aware of the difference but I believe the cost difference with the money is around $1000. I also understand the paperwork process to remove the condition and the traveling restriction with the two-year green card. Did you look into the cost difference?
