Oh well-importing someone from overseas is not cheap but seems to be well worth it.

Hey Art - Your comment of importing "someone from overseas" is very offensive and insulting.

We are not importing a commodity here!!!!

For all the right reasons we are seeking marriage with woman who we have fallen in love with and want them to spend the rest of our life with as our partner.

I suggest refraining from using such references in the future since they are highly offensive to me and not look favorably on you.

    Thank you -

  2. Hi everyone - glad to join this thread and take the ride along with everyone else who applied in January.  I first met my fiance during Christmas when I proposed to her. I have been back from the Philippines since Jan 11th and the pain of seeing how slow this process is moving is absolute torture.  I know all of us are experiencing the same feelings being away from the person we desire so badly to have in our life.  I was reading the Nov 2016 I-129F Flier blog and some of those applicants are still waiting for NOA2 since October.  I'm glad that we are all in this together and will be holding each other up.  I'm staying positive as many of the applicants in January have significantly decreased compared to December and November.  I've decided to take another trip to visit my fiance departing JFK on March 10th to spend two weeks with her and prepare for the next steps after we obtain our NOA2.  I look forward to supporting one another and watching how we all progress.  Cheers to all of us on this VISA timeline and good luck to everyone!!!!!!

  3. Hello Everyone,

We just noticed under our timeline "Processing and Estimated Stats" that our estimated approval time of March 30th to April 5th was updated today as " There are not enough recent approvals in the timeline system to accurately approximate when your I-129f will be approved. Please see the Timeline Stats page to see recent approvals. "

Has anyone else's timeline been updated to this status?

Wondering if the recent immigration changes that went into effect on Friday is going to slow down the processing time for those of us waiting on USCIS NOA2 approval.

Would appreciate your input and comments.

    Thank you.

  4. Hi Everyone,

I have a question regarding my fiance 12 year old son who will be traveling to the US with her after approval of her K-1 Visa.  Reading the D-160 application I understand that her son is required to have a separate application.  My question is what is the cost for his K-2 Visa.  He is 12 years old, I do not see a separate fee listed anywhere under the D-160 instructions or K-1 Visa requirements and fee schedule.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

  5. Hi everyone.  I just read in "My K-1 Journey" http://itsanuphilljourney.weebly.com/steps.html Step 7:  Commission on Filipino Overseas  "As Filipinos going abroad as fiance(e)s, spouses or other partners of foreign nationals, you are required to attend the CFO's guidance and counseling session in order to secure the Guidance and Counseling Certificate (GCC) and the CFO sticker. You need this certificate to renew or apply for a new passport at the Department of Foreign Affairs. You will also need to present this certificate together with your spouse/partner visa, at the Immigration office at the international airport  on your day of departure."

I'm confused that there is no mention on this important requirement in the Visa Journey K-1 Step by Step guide.  Obviously if this is a requirement needed to leave the Philippines on the day of departure, why is there no information given here on attending a required Guidance and Counseling Session in order to obtain the CFO sticker.  I'm assuming information regarding the GCC is revealed after your K-1 Visa has been approved.  I'm just curious why there is no mention of this requirement.  Also when I Google the GCC and CFO requirements most of the information on the internet is steal dating back as far as 2012.  I'm also wondering if this is no longer a requirement?

Any information or insight you can give us would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.
