  1. Hey everyone, it feels like I'm reaching out from the bottom of a well - I really have no idea what's going on and any help would be appreciated.

    My husband and I went through the k1 fiance visa process, I moved to the US in August 2017, we got married, filed everything for adjustment of status. I had my biometrics done in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin offices on November 14, 2017 - and since then I have heard nothing. Is this normal? How long does adjustment of status take? I called USCIS and they said that nothing is wrong with our case and that we're still in the normal "time frame" so I can't open a case number to track my specific case.

    I also have not been able to work or get a driver's license since, and at age 24 this feels a little soul-crushing. Should I go ahead and file a separate work authorization permit (i765)? I desperately just want to be a fully functioning and productive citizen in this country.

    Please help if you can!

    Hi Guys, just heard that consular officers use slips of different colors to represent their decisions.

    Pink=Approval

    Blue=Administrative processing

    White=Denial

    Is this the same for all consulates?

    I had my interview on Tuesday at the consulate in Brussels and got approved. I received a white pick up slip, so I can go and grab my passport and visa this upcoming Tuesday!

  3. Hi everyone, I have a question!

    My interview is scheduled for the 25th, and I just went to pick up my medical results today that they handed me in a sealed envelope. Am I allowed to open them, or should I hand the sealed envelope to the interviewer?

    Also, I did an x-ray but there is no cd or anything of the sort in the envelope. I made sure to ask if everything is definitely in there and they said yes. Should I be worried?

    Good luck everyone!

  4. Hey friends!

    I know we're all on different walks of life, different ages, coming from different countries (if you're a beneficiary) - but I'm sure the waiting is just as hard and frustrating for all of us.

    I'm a beneficiary originally from Macedonia but currently living in Belgium, and our NOA1 date is Jan 23! Now we're just refreshing the USCIS app a million times a day hoping for an approval :)

    Just reaching out to wish us all luck, thank you guys for everything!

    I'm giving up now there are a lot more January filers than I expected it..took me like 15 minutes to find my receipt number?

    Hey everyone!

    I'm assuming a lot of you know this, but for some of you that might not - when you look at the January filers document you can press command + f (or if you don't have a mac, control + f) and type in your WAC number. This way you can locate your case number right away!
    :)
