That's awesome!
My family suggested we have a "Coming to America" party for the hubby since he's coming from Africa. We'll see.

Hi Everyone! Got my NOA 1 April 20, 2016 from the Texas Service Center. Husband is Colombian. Congratulations to all who have already received NOA 2, but it's hard not to get discouraged. Why is Texas so slow?!!!

That's great. You did give them your email tho right? Because sometimes they send the welcome letter via email only as in my case. So, if you didn't plz do so.

Amazing news while enjoying our trip to the beach.
After an amazing walk in the beach in Essaouira and a great shopping experience, we came back to the hotel, then my phone rang. My hobby checked it and found that we received an email from the USCIS saying that our case was approved yesterday. Yaaaay amazing. Your cases are getting approved very soon guys. Wish you all the best guys

This
and This
The threads you've read where marrying on the first visit have issues because they also didn't have the relationship you have built already. You didn't get married, and petition for him 2 seconds later and to never see him again during that time.
You've traveled together, met family, built your marriage. Now you are petitioning him after 2 years of getting to know each other, 2 years of trips and facetime, 2 years of proof. You are well ahead of the rest in terms of what the CO is looking for. Gather your proof keep doing what you do with your marriage and enjoy the pregnancy. I'm going to bet the CO will not even blink about you marrying on the first visit.

Usually, marrying on the first visit causes problems, especially in high fraud countries, because this first visit, where the couple married is the ONLY time they have met and they have usually only known each other a short period of time. You have been married two years and have met your husband in person several times. I don’t think your situation will be an issue!

OP, reading your post, it's not exactly clear on what you are really asking if anything. What I got from it was that you are afraid of being denied because of a decision you made a few years ago? What decision? Getting Married? What matters most to the CO is not getting married on the 1st visit but proving a bonafide relationship/marriage and facetime and based on your own info. above, you have multiple visits and proof of that much needed facetime. Provide all that supporting evidence (passport stamps, flight ticket stubs, hotel receipts from your trips together, etc...) all that is good evidence and will be in your favor even with a tough embassy. Good luck when you get ready to file.

My case was just sent to the NVC on October 6 after being accepted on September 14. Another couple told me that it took them 4 weeks for the NVC to receive their case from USCIS, and it looks like mine will be following a similar timeline (maybe later based on Monday's holiday). Just letting you all know!

Don't forget to check the official website and yes you'll need birth certificates for both. The website is very clear and even tells you where in Ja to get the needed forms. Are you actually K3 or CR1/IR1?

She is an actual immigration lawyer. Thank you for your responses everyone, I'm going to currently look into another lawyer or try rapidvisa, I'm not confident enough to apply on my own.
