  1. Hey guys, I called uscis yesterday and spoke with a tier 2 officer over my i751 application which have remained pending since Dec 2016. The tier 2 officer told me that my case is on a processing hold. Anyone knows what that is? I didn't use a divorce waiver and still happily married to my wife whom I have a child together with. The tier 2 officer further told me that it seems I didn't respond to something they requested for and I told him I never received nothing in the mail. He advised me to go to the uscis local office which I have already made an info pass appointment. Please, anyone with knowledge of what this means or had similar experience. Thanks.

Hi everyone. Just received a text message alert that case was updated. I went to my uscis account and it says that "New Card is being produced". I didn't get any messages like my case was approved. Just new card is being produced. I double checked my account on DHS and it shows no changes. My WAC1707500xxx. I didnt apply for N400 yet. My case was not transferred to NBC or anywhere. Hope its not a false alarm. Excited. But holding my breath.

    I filed on 13.12.2016

    NOA is 14.12.2016

I had the regular glitch message in February 24 th and 26th 2018 "your case was transferred to your local office"

I called and spoke with a tier 2 officer and he told me that my case was touched last week and its presently on administrative hold. He further said that uscis needed something from me which I didn't respond to. I never received nothing in the mail. I check my mail twice a day and nothing came. I'm so confused and so freaking out. Does anyone know what this could be. The tier 2 officer adviced that I make an appointment and go into my local office. Stressing.

  3. Just spoke with a tier 2 USCIS officer and I was told that my case was reviewed in April of 2018 and that its not as if cases are left untouched. When i asked her about the fact that some Jan 2017 cases are approved ahead of Dec 2016 cases, she said that cases are approved on case by case basis. She also added that I should call back in 2 to 3 months from now if it still remains the same. I filed in Dec 2016 CSC.

I mean, the message about 28th was a part of the glitch message about transfer. At this point it's a common knowledge  that mass transfer to local offices has never happened and that was anything but a valid update. I got same response but it was a letter straight from CSC. I hope to see this thread be active by the end of next month with a real updates :)

What letter did you get straight from CSC?

hi, i lost my passport and my receipt notice for i751 is expiring. I know people can get a stamp on their passport to extend their status until i751 i approved.

do i have to have a passport to get this stamp? is there any other way to get the stamp without a passport?

If I don't get the stamp, will my status end even though my i751 application is still in progress? Will i need to lose my job?

    thank you for help.

note: i lost my passport and applied for a new one but embeassy says it may take more than 6 monhts to recieve my new passport.

Yes, you can get your stamp even if your passport is expired. You will need 2 passport photos alongside your green card.

@Davejj everyone's still says fee waived. However if you use the 1st receipt number you received on you NOA that previously gave an error message. Than receipt number is the number that is now providing transfer information. Additionally, if you create an account on the dhs website you will still get the fee waives messages using the receipt # from your biometric appt. But the original NOA notice will give you the transfer notices. All that to say use your first receipt number.

    Hope that helps! :)

Just used my 1st receipt and it says on 5th of march 2018, my case was transferred to the local office. Does it mean we will be getting interview notices?

I had the same thing before.. fees waived since I filed mine last December 2016 then this March, I recieved a another NOA of Transferring then they provided new reciept number. I called the USCIS about this, because I was so confused. Then, the agent told me I’m on a normal process, they just transferred my case in TSC from CSC because of backlogged. The agent from USCIS told me to check my status using my new reciept provided. Now, I can see what are they working now unlike before its only fees waived everytime I checked it.

I'm still stuck on the fee waived thing. I think I will call uscis tomorrow and find out what's going on. Its been stagnant for me since I filed. At least yours is moving and you can see it.

There seems to be a few people getting physical notices of their case being transferred in the mail, as of yet I've had nothing, anyone else in the same position, CSC filer but no physical notice of transfer?

I'm a csc dec 2016 filer and nothing yet. No transfer notice or anything in the mail. My online status still says fees were waived. This is getting very frustrating.

Hey. Welcome to the I-751 February 2017 filers PART II thread. I made this when I noticed the original thread was closed for no apparent reason.  As you guys know most CSC filers and some VSC have not gotten their approvals yet. We must be able to keep each other informed. If someone could replicate the filer logs and paste them on here that'd be great.

I'm Dec 2016 and still waiting.
